With control of the house comes subpoena power and investigations that come with criminal referrals.
Criminal referrals that will go to the FBI and also the Special Counsel's office.
And the midterms are now over. Mueller's team was adhering to Justice Department protocols to not make overt movements during an election period (something that James Comey **** ed up during the 2016 election). The indictments will resume.
Today is November 7th. It won't be long before the next Congress is sworn in and Rep. (we call her Auntie) Maxine Waters issues a subpoena to the IRS for Donald Trump's tax returns. Rep. Adam Schiff will now head the House Intel Committee. This is the part of the story where all the dirt comes pouring out.
And don't sweat Beto and Gillum losing. Those are dumb racist ass states that they were campaigning in. The fact that they lost by a percentage is proof enough that times are changing quickly, lots of ignorant racist people will die between now and 2020. They showed enough to me that they should toss their hats in the ring on the national level for Dem nomination in the primaries.

No Nancy. Absolutely not. Bipartisanship is dead. You cannot negotiate with these animals. She is bat **** crazy if she believes this.
She should not be Speaker of the House if this is her approach. She did the same damn thing when the Dems won the midterms during the Bush Administration and it led to voter apathy because she refused to go after GW.
Until the GOP disavows the stink of Nazism from their ranks we need to shove them in the **** ing corner.
Work on healing divisions after Trump is out of office. Not a moment before.
I'm tired of her and Schumer. Seriously. People are dying over this ****.

Kim is currently winning Burlington by 19 points. Still hope there. Slight possibility that NJ could only be sending 1 Republican to the House (NJ-04, Monmouth, Ocean, and Mercer counties).

dens need to realize the egalitarian approach needs to stop. you don't go against an extremist with a moderate platform. you don't confront a bully with chocolate and roses. this approach doesn't inspire voters

I read there were over 20,000 mail-in ballots in Burlington County in 2016 so if there were similar numbers this year, then a 59% to 40% ratio for Kim to MacArthur would be 11,800 to 8,000 or a difference of 3,800. Kim is down about 2,300 right now. I hope my back of the envelope calculations are close.

Winston S. Churchill supposedly once observed that anyone who was not a liberal at 20 years of age had no heart, while anyone who was still a liberal at 40 had no head.

It's an age thing, not a generation thing. The Boomers were once arguably one of the most liberal generations ever. Circumstances & priorities evolve with age. 15-20 years from now, as Millenials age into those ranges, the splits will remain about the same, and the next generation will be disgusted with the Millenials & Gen X. There have been numerous quotes describing that phenomenon dating back until at least the 1800s, and it's not just a US thing.Winston S. The cycle hasn't changed, just the incendiary ratings whoring rhetoric from media & politicians on both sides has. Most of the country is comprised of varying shades of purple, but rational thought and compromise doesn't get hits, but it's easier to campaign and cover the extremes.

I disagree with you regarding age. Life priorities change for sure as you get older, but that really doesn't prove your assertion that an extreme political ideological shift from liberalism to conservatism is an age thing especially since Black and Latino voters over age 65 (BOOMERS) voted overwhelmingly against the GOP. Compare that to the White Boomers who are heavily divided in that category. How do you explain such a disparity between Boomers of Color and their White counterparts?
The years change everyone, I'm not the same person in my 30s as I was in my early to mid 20s (thank god). It's one thing to mature and not do or believe in the same things that you did in your 20s. It's another thing for your core political and moral beliefs to shift so sharply that by the time you're age 65, you are routinely inclined to vote against your own self interests the older you get, which an overwhelming number of White baby boomers are doing when they vote for the party that wants to make healthcare inaccessible, less affordable, and end social security benefits. The % of White Boomers who are wealthy enough to be able to live in a country where they can afford health care costs and can live without social security and medicare is fairly small. So how do you explain the voting behavior of the rest of them?
I mean I know the answer here, but I just wanted to point out that aging has nothing to do with it in terms of voting behavior. I mean, unless your assertion is that White voters are the only ones who shift more towards the right politically as they get older, which I find very hard to believe (I also don't think that is your assertion), it doesn't explain the gap between voting groups age 65-up.
Also, I should add that Black/Latinos are actually pretty conservative when you look at how many people within the communities are Christian and Muslim. The only reason these communities don't vote for Republicans is because of their harmful policies and oh yeah, the whole dog whistling to Nazis that they've been doing since the end of the sixties.
