This is KD’s 2nd time. At this point, you have to wonder whether he’s making poor choices about who he spends time with. Even he’s responsible, are there people who he hangs out with who aren’t?

Other players and teams are having this issue. It’s been throughout the league.

This is not on the league. I’m not going to get mad at a league that is trying to protect other players and their close contacts.

Plus, things have calmed down a lot. IIRC, This past week there were no positive cases.

Instead of blaming the NBA, I’m wondering why KD, who already tested positive, has already been kept out of games twice this season due to the protocol.

It seems like at least someone in his circle is irresponsible.

We don't know the extent of who he was around, if KD was out partying or something yeah, but we don't know. A Nets personnel member could have gotten covid and contact tracing could lead to Durant having contact with this person. We just don't know

both teams might postpone games due to NBA being dumb.

The NBA doing this on the heels of their biggest star killing the All Star Game is the dumbest thing ever. They need to catch heat for this. Wtf. Best case scenario, he just exposed his whole team and the Raptors. Worst case scenario, they yanked him for no reason.

I’m actually surprised they let him play at all. If there was any doubt, why risk it?

This is what I'm saying, you wait til NOW to yank him when he was already allowed to play???

The NBA needs to be questioned as to what happened here.

But why let KD play in this game? If there was any doubt don't let him back into the game.

Coming off the heels where they allowed a maskless, drunk woman courtside to yell at players.

This is a joke. I'm sorry, their protocols are completely make it up as you go.

This is on the NBA and the entire social media is erupting with questions on what exactly is the point of these rules.

He could’ve been ruled out after the game. The league said no. The other person is still negative from everyone’s understanding.

James and Joe need to be the only ones that shoot the ball. Every one pass or play defense.

Is there a bigger whiner in the NBA than the Raptors HC?

That dude wants a foul on every possession.

I strongly disagree.

The longer non-infected people spend time around the infected in a non- or poorly circulated area, the risk of exposure and the likelihood of infection goes up tremendously.

It doesn’t matter if the league or the team made mistakes assessing him earlier. If he needs to come out, he needs to come out. The longer he plays, the more likely he risks those who was in contact with. You don’t just let him keep playing, because he already was on the court. It’s never too late to remove an infected player from the court.

I agree with you, I was just being hyperbolic. However, if Durant is indeed infected, the damage was done hours ago. Everyone should be quarantined. hell, the game should be postponed.

My point remains: The NBA has botched this, big time. They're making it up as they go.
