Seriously beginning to consider a Bruce Banner jersey. Dude may have walked himself into untradeable category, considering his salary, our team needs and his potential in relation to his value for other teams.

He went early though, they had 5 seconds left after the miss...there was 1-2 second difference between the game and shot clock...if he just milked it all the way down to like 1 second and then took a deep 3, any sort of ricochet runs out the clock.

I don't think he thinks about that though, he just goes off instinct, which in this case, it DID result in a super easy layup, that he just missed somehow.
That wasn't possible, they were sending a double at him to trap him in that corner, so that forced him to make his move. He did the right thing, just **** up the finish badly.

It's kind of annoying that we couldn't execute at the end of regulation like we did in OT. A win is a win though.

Agreed. There was maybe a 2 second difference in the shot and game clock, you want to get a good look and potentially a score there, so you don’t have to worry about a last second 3 burying you.

He blew the bunny, that’s happening almost never for such a clutch player and elite finisher on a look like that, I take that every time over hoisting up some garbage with 3 on the clock, or worse, a turnover and then having to close your eyes with 1.1 remaining and a red hot Walker launching a wide open desperation 3 for the win in rhythm.

Genuinely curious to see what Bruce Brown's value is in free agency. He can't really shoot the 3 but the potential is there, and his finishing ability/touch around the rim are elite. And while he is undersized, he's a good defender with a lot of hustle and intangibles.

Legit elite switching and shot blocking/forcing turnovers.

I'd be that way if Scarlett Johannsson wanted me, but I turned into an angry green guy if we got down.

Speaking of all this Marvel stuff...I have a WandaVision episode to watch.

Still want Drummond for this team since his offensive rebounding will be at stupid levels with the big 3.

But i think its defintely a discussion whether 30 minutes of drummond is actually better than 15 minutes of Claxton.

Wait Brown isn't locked in contract wise?

Yeah haha. I’ve come up with a few but that might be my favorite. Plus the, “You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.”, quote goes great with his tough demeanor, but constantly smiling and shake it off nature.

The nicknames I’ve been pushing for him:

Bruce Banner
Die Hard
Bruce Brawn
John McLane

If he can become a legit threat from deep when wide open, he is easily one of the better 3&D wings out there.

He stays similar, he’s basically Tony Allen with slightly worse defense, but plays more within himself and his limits on offense/with the ball.

Sensational grab by Marks.
