Just keep Lowry from the sixers and im good. him avoiding miami wouldnt upset me either

Kyle wants 2 year 50 extension from what was reported. Philly not type of team that will be spending much, don't see it happening.

Lakers and Clippers been sniffing around but they don't have anything to work with from what I heard.

I won't mind him going to Miami and lose Nunn in process.

Lowry at 25 million would basically just replace Green/Scott who make 21M now and expire. and it gives them a legit shot at a title.

Miami would be scary with him. they would have an All-NBA defender at PG, SF, and C. and all 3 of those guys are 2 way players who are tough as nails. Lowry/Jimmy are big time gamers. thats the kind of team where even if you beat them your limping into the next series after a war.

Right now we have a massive talent gap over those teams. but Embiid/Simmons/Lowry or Butler/Bam/Lowry closes that gap a bit and both those teams have an elite coach in a 7 game serires vs a rookie coach in nash. id be nervous

This would only make sense if Alize johnson was like a create-a-player in 2K that you progressed to an 88 OVR rating.

This game (32 points) is closer then when we beat them in our last matchup. and we didnt play their G-league team the first matchup like they are playing ours now.

Thats not how Ujiri operates or trades happen. Hes going to ask for Thybulle or mid 1rd pick. Same with Miami, Pat loves older players and they do spend to a degree.

I'm not worried about any team as long as our teams is 100% healthy, we clearly head and shoulders better than any team and its not even close.

Honestly with Lowry being available I'm shocked not to hear the Celtics going after him. Gordon doesn't make much sense for them especially if they're going to include Smart since he's the one guy on the team that facilitates for others.

TBH though I just hope he stays put in Toronto.

They would probably ask for Thybule, milton or maxey and a pick. that still leaves:

Lowry | Curry | Harris | Simmons | Embiid

Maxey | Green | Scott | Korkmaz | Dwight

Most of all though, Philly gets a bulldog leader. and thats really what they lack. As great as embiid is, he isnt a killer, he kind of turtles when things start to go bad, and has the stench of those tanking teams on him. Doc + Lowry makes them legit

Miami thought would take a bigger hit for sure, which is why id be less concerned there.

They are hard capped. they would need to use their TPE to bring in salary and Lowry makes more then their TPE. its the same reason they cant trade for drummond

They could trade kemba for lowry, but the raps would laugh at that

This (Alzie) really shouldn't surprise anyone.

This kid is the favorite to be named MVP of the G-league, if he hasn't already.

Maybe we would’ve treated this game differently with a healthy Kyrie but who knows. This felt like a 2016 era Nets game.

That's because once it became apparent we weren't stealing this game with none of the BIG 3 and on the second night of back-to-backs, Nash wisely rested ALL of his regulars and pretty much emptied the bench.

It sucks to lose, but that was a smart move by Nash, especially when it became apparent so early.

It will be interesting to see how he handles Detroit, but I suspect Harden and Blake will be back.

As for Shamet, it genuinely depends on the health of his ankle. THANK GOD it wasn't the dreaded "high ankle sprain" like it was for LeBron. How do I know it wasn't? We wouldn't even be talking about his possible return, so soon, if it was. High ankle sprains are a B and they can take forever to heal. You're almost better off with a broken ankle so long as it's a hairline break and not something extreme like a compound fracture.

NO JOKE

I've seen guys return quicker from broken ankles then high ankle sprains in the summer leagues I played in.

BTW high ankle sprains, like hamstrings, can easily be re-injured if you comeback even a moment too soon. I know because I remember my brother making that mistake, ONE TIME, and he was done playing ball until the following season. That's why the Nets are being especially cautious with KD. They know all of this stuff about hammy's and high ankle sprains. Nash even admitted if it was the playoffs KD would probably be back already, BUT IT'S NOT (the playoffs), therefore they are not bringing him back until he's 110% healed. They know if he re-injures it he's done for the season. The Lakers, I'm sure, know the same about LeBron. That's why they are rumored to be chasing Drummond so hard. I'll bet you they're more worried about LBJ than they are AD.

Alize looks like a keeper. Seems like a big man who can run the floor who is perfect for those harden full court passes . A lot like Claxton.

Also glad the coaching staff made an executive decision to hold harden out because if it were up to him he would play . The term Nash of he is pretty banged up dose not sound to promising regarding Hardens current status.

Did you notice he was in full uniform despite being declared OUT?

Pretty unusual, but that's how bad he wanted to play.

I guess he was hoping, if it was close, that Nash would change his mind down the stretch. 8-)
