I'm gonna take a wild guess and say saddest person today may be Sharpe. Harden was gonna make him BIG money...

I'm happy with the trade and just glad it's all over. One thing I really hope is that Simmons picks up some of KD's attitude and wants to prove everyone wrong.

I will say I do not expect Joe Harris to contribute to the offense and maybe team....

even if Joe is back for playoffs, he's not helping offensively.....

People who hate the trade... what do you think we would have got if there wasnt this Simmons vs. morey situation? A star demanding out to a desired location? If they didnt have simmons we end up with like curry/thybule and a few picks.

We are fortunate a 25 year old all-nba player was feuding with the GM/Team.

A matchup between 76ers and Nets in the playoffs would be lit!

I approve of this deal as long as Simmons has a chip on his shoulder and is ready to prove everyone wrong.

If he’s in shape and mentally ready with a FT and improved jump shot and can hit KD abs Kyrie and our shooters when they are open while playing HOF level D then LFG!

Simmons is a beast defensively who will work on his game and Curry/Mills will be a dynamic duo as spot up shooters. Also, Woj says Nets ain't done, I smell a Joe Harris/Clax/Pics trade coming very soon for a J.Grant type of player. Nets will be formidable.

Did harden decline or did he actually stop trying? I watched the kings game and he look like he quit. He needs to lose weight for sure.

IMO it's a combo. The fact that he isn't fit has affected his attacking ability as well as not getting the calls he used to. But he definitely quit sometime in the past two weeks. The fact that Mills came out and said he looked like himself in shoot around was a major red flag.

It is what it is honestly.

If this dude balls out from now on, I'm going to be pissed lol.

Simmons is going to explode with the Nets. Look at the shooters they got around their stars.

Not gonna be an IF, just when....

He will pop hard and look real good for awhile...

just see if its sustainable and/or does it lead to wins for them.

he's now with two elite scorers, multiple shooters. All we need Ben to do is play his game. KD will be leading the charge

I disagree...that's not a picture we need.

That OG team failed.
The next Big 3 didn't win it all.

The running theme seems to be "The Nets repeatedly acquire big names and keep failing to win for one reason or another."

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. It's what happened last season. Only thing that could stop him is his injuries are legit and he reaggrivates them.

Being able to run out

Irving
Curry
Harris
Durant
Simmons

is pretty lethal. With guys like Mills also ready to step in for nights Kyrie is unavailable.

Pretty Wild.
