Could they at least show some consistency by designating *one* official thug player per team?

Just look at the trailing ref there, staring right at Green gaming Sabonis.
"Yep, nothing to see here.."

bruh he put his whole sweaty ass all in his face

Read on Twitter
?s=20

I don't care what was called as a play. If KD left alone with Eric Gordon guarding him with 10 seconds on the clock.... WTF is he doing here?

This ain't the 1st time KD shrinked playing vs Russ team.

When I watched PHX vs LAC it was Deja Vu moment for me. Russ just bring that intensity where KD just shrinks.

Holy Mother of Crocodiles..

Jimmy Butler just *SPANKED* Giannis & the Bucks right out of the first round. :o

Image

How the fluffing whuffle is that even possible?!

And dude! Like, every other year someone anoints the 'next Jordan' or 'the next Kobe,' but this is the real deal with Bill McNeal right here. You want to talk about "that extra edge?" This is the sh-t right here, mon. Lorda mercy.

James Butler, the IIIrd, baby...

And double-wow, also just reading his WP entry, it says--

Butler was born in Houston on September 14, 1989. His father abandoned the family when Butler was an infant. By the time he was 13 years old and living in the Houston suburb of Tomball, his mother kicked him out of the house. As Butler remembered it in a 2011 interview, she told him, "I don't like the look of you. You gotta go." He then bounced between the homes of various friends, staying for a few weeks at a time before moving to another house. Despite all of this, Butler maintains a close relationship with his parents, saying, "I don't hold grudges. I still talk to my family. My mom. My father. We love each other. That's never going to change."

Unbelievable. What a fricken' boss, this dude is.

Must be nice to have a star player that wants to win and not waste everyone's time.

Butler showed everyone that Giannis ring was a fraud ring. He couldn't get it done again and it's great to see them going back to the 2018 days again. Hopefully they disband soon.

What goes around comes around.

**** Giannis. He got what he deserved.

His dirty play on Kyrie essentially changed the course of NBA history.

Without that play, Nets would have won it all. “Big 3 “ would have stayed regardless of what happened the following seasons. Nets would have been a contender all these years.

Giannis would have been labeled as a perennial choker.

Anyways…

You know I was super-excited about the dude when he was making a name for himself. What a story he and his family were, and say what you want about Kidd, but major props to both he and Giannis for making the crazy experiment work, i.e. installing a fairly raw, 7-foot #15 pick as both a playmaker on offense and the backbone of the defense.

Yet, here we are the last few years. The 'Freak has become a routinely reckless player who throws his body all over the place and regularly gets bailed out by the refs.

Still, gamesmanship and being bailed out by the refs is one thing, like Houston-Harden and others through the years. But the Kyrie incident was just one of many dirty or reckless plays of his through the years, and you can bet your bippy that dude's going to injure more players in future unless he gets reigned in somehow.

Anyway, what further lost me respect for him was that right after he gets spanked by Jimmy & the Heat, in the postgame he tried to play it off like it was 'no big deal,' and that 'Jordan and other stars failed plenty of times just because they didn't win a chip.'

No, dude-- most superstars would be absolutely mortified or incensed (choose your personality style) if their #1 regular-season team in the league got spanked right out of the first round.

Get that weak-sauce outta here, Giannis.
To me you're just spouting smug, multi-millionaire BS, like LeBron did when the overconfident Heatles got upset by Dirk & co.

The difference is, LeBron grew right out of that shizzle and became a Mt. Rushmore player, or maybe even the greatest. If Kobe was still alive, he'd have you on blast (either publicly or behind closed doors) for your pitiful bag of weak-sauce the other day.

Get that weak-sauce outta here, my man.

Oh FFS, could someone please knock the Warriors out, once and for all?

Draymond seems like a fairly smart guy in front of a mic I guess, but I am so, so *over him* as a dirty-dog bball player. Even worse, dude's such a routinely shameless a-hole in terms of abusing refs without real consequence, including getting right in their faces and spittling his venom on them, in which case the ref turns away as if nothing had happened!

Can someone explain what the hell is up with that?

At the same time, you have players who get T'd up for looking in the wrong direction after a dunk, for making a minor 'what's up' gesture after being called for a foul, for talking civilly to a ref for any reason at all, for chuckling quietly on the sideline, and a bunch of other ridiculous reasons I think we've all witnessed.

Somehow Draymond is empowered by the NBA (I mean who else could it be?) to be so, so much worse than any of that, with strangely rare consequence to the man.

And then there's Steve Kerr, who I seem to agree with 99.9% in terms of social & democratic issues, but holy hell, is he such an absolute coward when it comes to taking care of internal matters, such as disciplining Draymond. TBH (perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps I'm right) I didn't like his public defense of Giannis either, selectively ignoring context & various things in order to praise the dude.

Yes, Steph is an absolutely legendary player, the Dubs are an incredibly smart, well-coached team, and they're indeed a great dynasty, but enough is enough.

Someone please knock this pathetic bag out of there, and let's have a legit team win this year, please?
