Congrats, thrilling game. Wish we would have had it in the end, but that was just sick from VC, so hats off to him, and Harris. Great game by both teams really althought Raps made some rough mistakes at the end.

Atleast I wasn't aat this one. I was at the last one where he beat us with a 3 at the end. bleh.

The Nets might have won this game but the Raptors won the trade.

There is no way you can fill the void left by the departure of two studs like Aaron and Eric Williams.

Oh and to add insult to injury. Joey Graham is all ours baby!

Rob Babcock FTW!!!

Sorry for passing on our biggest headache ever. Good luck trying to get anything out of that washed up bum.

Vince Carter we don't miss you at all and hardly even knew you.

Great game Nets... not much more I can say other than that if we had Frank instead of Smitch right now we'd be a lot better than 6-6... that last play said it all... still not sure why our bigs were at halfcourt and Calderon in the paint (let alone on the floor at all!)

VC... ah... forget it. He played great... I wish he could've worked out here but times pass.

I know we Nets fans bash Frank a lot, but I think we do have to give him credit for finding a way to utilize Devin and Vince's ability to beat their man off the dribble and incorporate that as a focal point of our offense.

I hate to say this, but I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one.

Still can't stand his substitution patterns though.

I'll admit something...if there's one coach in the league Frank can actually outcoach...it's Sam Mitchell.

man..happy I stuck this one out. NBA is FANtastic !

I know many fans wouldn't mind as it may help their 2010 dream scenarios but I'd really hate to see VC traded to another team (uhm outside the Raptors that is). I'd like to see him retire a Nets (or uhm the other team I like again).

Just a brilliant all-around game by VC. He & Lopez were barely keeping the Nets in the game the 1st half. He was making the right passes (easily could have had 10 assists if wide open shots were made). Was active on the boards. Out of necessity busted his butt to defend Bosh late in the game. Hit that unbelievable 3pt to send game to OT & then that game winning dunk off of a perfect Simmons pass. Had a small dry spell in the 4th but no one's perfect.

On RapsTV he said (and I agree) that he felt his Cleveland performance was unacceptable and that he contributed nothing that game and as a leader of this team he wanted to come out with a better performance - and dyam he did ! VC always had some great reactions after an amazing play he just did, today he brought out the Quinton "Rampage" Jackson howl after the 3pt tying shot & then he did his Jules Winnfield "yea I'm a badass" face after the winning dunk. Outside of his Philly playoff games this has to rank up there for him as one of his greatest games.

He says the boo's don't bother him but I think they did, but this game the boo's were far less intense and more out of habit & fun for the fans it seemed and I do think that helped him.

I was very surprised that Lopez was seemingly not bothered by O'Neal in the low block. Frank can really run plays off of VC/Devin & Lopez.

Another tough night for Yi but look at his mirror image, Bargnani who was spectacular today and his previous game. Bargnani is starting to come around & Nets fans have to be just as patient for Yi - he's already trying to get to the paint more recently, it hasn't resulted in success but he is taking his coaching well. I couldn't stand his D today but then I had to remind myself he was playing vs Bosh.

Speaking of Bosh - I thought Bargnani would be better than him over time but 3 years later and Bosh has exceeded all my expectations of him..I was dead wrong on his ceiling. His face up game w/ his ability to shoot anything inside the arc combined with his quick drive attack & knack for getting calls plus his intense desire to win has made him a great player...I did not see it.

Credit to Dooling (& Frank) for ratcheting up their defense (...or actually playing defense) in the 2nd half to get the Nets seeing the horizon again. Hayes...what can I say - I love this guy on this team. That slipscreen play between him & VC in the post was hilarious (and kinda sad as a Raps fan too) how easy it was & having him blow the 2nd layup only to get the Moses Malone rebound & score was nice.

Devin post-vomit was great. I like how he can drive hard in the lane w/ both hands but for whatever reason he was really going after Calderon on the left side - not sure if that was due to the position of the post help D but it was interesting to note. He picked it up when someone else needed to spell VC....great backcourt combo - they don't work as your typical combo playing directly off one another but each picks the other up when needed. Interesting dynamic & completely different from the Kidd / VC dynamic.

Almost hate to see either team lose a game like that but as both a Nets/Raps fan the Raps kinda stole defeat from the jaws of victory kinda of thing. Nets really had no business winning that game but give them credit for a gutsy performance when they could have folded it up on numerous occasions during the game.

Najera needs to hit an open 3..dyam ! Blue away Jerseys far better than ugly Red Jerseys...I kinda liked the Grey/Silver ones too - but I guess the subdued colour doesn't sell as well as the one's that "pop".

Props to Frank for some great play calls in the end - he was practically on the court during the 4th quarter going nuts esp. after Simmons intentional (not yet!) foul.

would be nice to be 0.500 going into the West Coast Swing but this team is already ahead of development imo.

VC VC VC !

Im a Blazer fan, but I gotta give Vince Carter some props on silencing the Toronto crowd until the next meeting between the two teams.

LMAO...........The game was a classic in my opinion though. This even surpasses the game 3 years ago when carter hit a game winning fadeway 3 and had a 42 point overall in Toronto. The Nets should not trade carter, they need him now and even for the future because Carter's game doesn't rely on his athleticism(Though it makes him a scarier offense player). He is doing a good job of adjusting his game little by little as he is getting older.

You have to be an idiot to say he has no heart. He's shown tons of heart during his 4 years in NJ - especially this year. He's played well (and hard) almost every game this season. So how does he have no heart?

Wow, jeez.

That was a game and a half. We got outcoached and VC finished some big plays. Obviously, New Jersey played well as a team, but man, it's been a while since I got a chance to watch VC play like that. It was nice. I'm glad he's playing well for you guys.

Great game.

Definately a classic right here folks, couldnt have asked for a better game.

*We as fans have to learn to forgive Frank, forget about how awful he was last year and accept it that he's actually coaching really well this season, those last couple of plays and the offense were all Phil Jackson like, granted his substitution patterns are right up there with the worst of them but everything else he's been doing really well this season.

*Devin Harris with another 30 point game? YUMMY!

*LOOOOPEZ with another fine and solid game finally we found a good all around C after years of very pathetic attempts and this guy is just a rookie!

*Its very nice to see Sean and Ryan finding their place in the rotation after working sooo hard for those spots.

*Im not worried about YI I really think this kid just needs some time to find some consistensy.

*Hayes and Dooling are both looking like genius off season pick-ups right about now, especially Jarvis.

*Now saving the best for last V MODA ***** C, seriously how do you even describe what just happened?
2 EXTREMLEY clutch plays against the fans that (stupidly still to this day) boo you to no end.

Come on VC haters we're ready for ya!

PS my god are those Raptors announcers terrible, seriously with the game winning dunk one of them was crying "NOOOOOOOOOO" like Luke Skywalker, pathetic

that game was a classic. VC started off slow because of the jeering but woke up in the 2nd half. Yi was benched after a travelling call on him and it looked like he complained when he got pulled out, Devin looks ill (just read this morning it was an upset stomach). Surely the chant "VC Sucks" stopped later in the game. I know this because I was there. Visiting my relatives here in Toronto this week prior to thanksgiving.

I think Devin threw up when he went back into the locker room. He was just a million times better when he came out. He had some very Kidd-esque moves off the ball and did Kidd's signature go in front of the defender on the break (Bargnani) and take the easy And-1 layup along with the catch everyone off guard for an easy breakaway layup. That and he scored like 16 points in the 4th and half of the OT points.

Watching 9 AM Encore on YES. Spanarkel and Eagle are hilarious. Ian (I-yan) Anderson and vinaigrette.

If we had Brook Lopez 3 years ago, we would be contender. He will be an all star. Best pick since R-Jeff.

Great Game.

VC showed up in the Fourth to take this game home.

For everyone that is praising Frank for this win, I think you are just enjoying this great win. Frank still showed how F'n BAD he is. He almost blew this win. We won a VC desperation 3 pt shot and a trick play in OT. So to say after this game he is doing a good coaching job this year is premature.
