Watching him switch over onto DeRozan made me salivate at the day that we can make Rondae our Starting 3 next to a true stretch 4 (maybe Jah can slightly evolve into that) or if RHJ can get his 3pt% up to a respectable level. He is a menace at the 3 on defense and the perfect switch everything kind of guy. He guarded everyone from Lowry to Ibaka last night and it was a sight to see

He is shooting over 50 % from midrange on 3 attempts per game and is 80 % from the line.

He’s still struggling from 3 pt territory. However the hitch in his shot is almost completely gone in the mid range and at the line. I’m actually semi-optimistic that he will develop a 3 pt shot in the coming seasons and we’ll be able to move him back to SF.

2 weeks for a groin injury is not normal. I think he should seek further medical advice and perhaps get surgery if needed.

A. Who knows how serious it really is. I'm sure the medical team does, as does the front office, as does RHJ, but they're under no obligation to make all of that public knowledge.

B. I still imagine he's being held out as a precaution until the trade deadline passes. Although I do believe this FO likes him a lot, I think the writing is on the wall that they are most certainly shopping him, or at the very least listening to and encouraging offers for him. I do not think it's inevitable he's dealt, but I think they are looking at all the angles and will move him in a heartbeat if something truly interesting with true value comes along.

They should do what Memphis is doing with Tyreke then and hold him out like that rather than milking an injury if the second part of what you wrote is true. Moving him while he’s injured is only gonna reduce his value.
