I'm no homer, I think Luka vs Harden is a legit debate. But I think Harden is still the better player.

But Luka is coming for "best player in the league" status. Slow start this year, but he's turning it around, and he's just oozing talent. And only 21!

Mike Gorman (Long time celtics TV play-by-play guy) Just RIPPPED Tatum and Green to shreds on WFAN this morning (local boston sports radio). which is surprising since he is typically pretty calm and leans a bit homerish (not to his old partner heinsohn levels but still). He basically said:

-Tatum/Brown are not killed
-Tatum/Brown "are ball stoppers" - direct quote
-Tatum/Brown are playing selfish basketball, not looking for teammates
-Tatum/Brown miss smart. its night and day without him. he provides all the toughness and leadership
-Tatum/Brown are too woried about being allstars and not worried enough about wins
-Said scalabrine (his partner now) mentioned some guys play for stats first half to make allstar games for the bonuses
-Says brad is not the issue. spoke to perkins comments about the team tuning him out

Its getting pretty ugly there.

how this isnt a bigger story is odd. If kyrie blows his nose in the wrong direction its on every news chanel. teams color guy goes on local radio to blast the teams stars and its crickets? meanwhile it the lead story in boston when kyrie sits out with a sprained finger?

It's funny how Kyrie, Horford, Morris, and Heyward left and yet the same issues are present.

Kemba was supposed to be the culture fit kyrie wasnt....

intersting considering he is throwing the team under the bus saying they need to play harder while he throws up a 1-12 performance.

Boston looks pretty much how the critics thought we would end up looking like with Kai, Harden, and KD. I remember watching a Celtics games on ESPN and Doris Burke correctly pointed out that for Tatum to take the next step he’d have to make his teammates better. Same could be said of Brown. And at this point in his career, we know Kemba is a score first guard. So they have 3 talented scorers, but no one that can make thing work for the rest of the team. Smart is the closest thing they have to a facilitator and he’s been injured for a while now.

Saltics have chemistry issues and they still won't admit it. That locker is toxic. Coach is soft, two stars have no clue or confidence in them and role players just bad.
Danny has issues and he have no clue how to make a trade unless next Billy King will come around.
I'm telling you guys Craptors and Saltics in world of trouble.EC being bad is the only thing why coaches and GM's safe.

I think Harden is better now, but Luka has the chance to surpass Harden's peak...

Looking at Jazz vs Lakers. While we only have DJ it’s clear our principles are wrong. There’s no off ball or on ball situation that pulls Rudy/Favors away from paint protection and rebounding duties.
Also Blazers go small but it was tall wings 6’3, 6’5, 6’8, 6’8 and 6’7. Length matters in contesting on the perimeter and gang rebounding. Again not the final roster/rotation but since he did all guard lineups here and in Houston it is worrisome. Doubtful it will be like that just something to keep an eye on defensively(especially why our GOAT offense isn’t causing more blowouts with stars that been apart of blowout teams).

Watching Boston, Toronto, and the Knicks all struggle under .500 feels so good.

The celtics look awful. Smart means so much to that team. Him and Theis are the only real lunchpail guys.

For all the crap we get about a lack of depth and defense the celtics have those issues only without a real big 3 or an elite offense. how do you have so many first round picks and like not even 1 legit bench player?

Hard to hate on the Knicks this year, other than them simply being the Knicks. They're playing way above expectations.

Thibs is COY imo so far. They're the #4 seed! Who would have predicted they'd be in the playoff hunt before the season started, let alone in position to have HCA in the 1st round?

I mean, obviously Quinn Snyder is the front runner, but I think what Thibs is doing with the Knicks is more impressive. And other than Thibs and Snyder, nobody else is really that impressive. Rivers has the Sixers #1, but not because they're even playing that great. They're not exactly lighting the world on fire. They're on pace for 53 wins, which isn't super impressive. They'd be the 5th seed in the West right now.

They'll be back 10+ under 500 by the end of this month  . I love the fact they right in a middle of things right now and getting their hopes high. Let them get reckless with their hot takes too, I'd love that.
This is exactly where I want them to be. Not good enough to make PO not bad enough to go after top 5 pick. Thibs is myan, he also running their core into ground. Mitch getting hurt was really unfortunate, Rose and Noel won't be able to sustain those min.

Lol, went through some GB hot take boards and had a great laughing time. Them clowns really be smoking some homer juice.
Duh nix fans taking joke of the board awards from Saltics fans. Them bums can't see what fundamentally wrong with their team yet talking about COY and All Star.
I'd be pissed and be going nuts if my coach won't develope my top ten picks and GM have no idea which direction he's going. Rose is one of the top clueless GM's out there.
Saltics still believe Smart will save them lol.
Craptors think they'll commit highway robbery for washed up Lowry, expiring or not bird rights baby
