First Bridges curses live on air and then Cam drops that h bomb. He's young so I'm not gonna hold it over his head but not cool

Nobody complained when KD, Kyrie or Harden did it.

Really enjoyable game. Looks like we are going to see plant of crazy lineups until the dust settles.

We may not have the heavy hitters but collectively we can defeat our opponents with a "Death by a thousand cuts" type of team effort. By that I mean the lock down defense and dependable role players who can knock them down.

Great win, it's been a difficult day for Nets fans but that performance is definitely some cause for optimism

- DFS is bigger and more athletic than I thought, there's definitely no redundancy between him and Royce. The guy is a menace on defense, looking forward to Mikal and DFS defending the wings with Clax behind them.

- Sharpe really threw that big body around and made his presence felt. Great physicality and energy, getting hands on offensive boards on doing a decent job on D too.

- Good to have Dinwiddie back, there was a bit too much my go your go with him and Cam but I'm glad to see Din didn't come in and hijack the offense since he's the vet.

- Our personnel is a great for our switching scheme. Bulls aren't the best shooting team but the poor 3 point shooting today wasn't just them missing shots.

I can't wait to see Mikal and Cam debut next game, JV's going to have some decisions to make about lineups but we've clearly got more playable guys that there are minutes available. Not the worst problem to have.

One constant about him is that he CAN rebound.
I often wonder watching him whether a couple of hard-fought grabs off the boards negates a clumsy turnover or occasional bad shot.
Still haven't answered that for myself. I guess it all depends on his role. If it's a small one in spots, maybe...

Is it just me, or do you think DFS deserves to start?

Nah, not cool. But again, not a big issue. He's a kid. He's gonna get a fine letter though

He did start. Our defense is going to be sick when Bridges starts next to him

So I'm leaning Spencer/Cam/Bridges/DFS/Claxton, but Cam needs to play smarter or he's gonna be with the 2nd unit

DFS is the kind of player we've needed in here for awhile. He's got some goon in him

I think Vaughn is prioritizing evaluating the new guys right now, but Mikal and Cam are at worst top 6 players on this team. It will be really interesting to see which guys start racking up DNPs, because the team is way too deep.

Pick watch: Suns lost to Atlanta.

dont want to overrate one game but that's a pretty solid win. shorthanded 3 starters, cam played like crap. down 4 guys total but the bench still came through vs a playoff team.

cam's decision making needs to get better but dinwiddie and simmons were impressive. so if it doesn't there are some back court options.

I'd agree. Similar (or better) defender than O'Neale but he's bigger which should help rebounding.

Dinwiddie
Bridges
Cam Johnson
DFS
Claxton

That's how I think it goes.

Agree. This is the starting lineup I foresee. Then looking at our bench, great depth!

Which Cam? I lean Johnson.

Which is kind of crazy when you realize that's 4 new guys and Claxton. Simmons, Royce, Harris, Thomas off the bench.
