To make things even crazier, The Phantom Troupe is on the same boat and they're hunting after Hisoka (who killed two members of their gang), who somehow snuck aboard the boat as well. Kurapika has no idea that Chrollo is on the boat, if they cross paths :noway: :noway: :noway:

Hopefully if the anime returns one day they'll animate Hisoka vs. Chrollo in Heaven's Arena. That was the craziest, most violent battle yet in the series, which is saying a lot considering how brutal the Chimera Ants arc was

Yea, i've been following this succession war and damn, reminds me how complicated they could make things LOL....

What you think happens with Gon now? What would be his next learning moment or growth with Nen?

Yea the nen beasts are something, I like the change, it's good. Wait is Hisoka on the boat? I thought Chrollo was but I missed Hisoka... btw Hisoka killed those two like a murderous boss!!!! i'm like, YES, give me gore and psycho ass kills!

Kurapika, Hanzo are there... also isn't Netero's son as well?

Spoiler:
Yeah Hisoka is on the boat. They showed the Phantom Troupe going through the bottom levels of the ship looking for him. Yeah he murdered the eff out of Shalnark and Kurotopi. I did NOT expect that at all, I was shocked. That's why I love HxH you never know what to expect.

I have no idea what happens with Gon. Right now he can't use his nen because of the conditions he imposed on himself when he went Super Saiyan turned into an adult to kill Neferpitou so I guess the next thing for him will be finding a way to get his Nen back.

I have a feeling Hanzo is going to end up getting killed. The stakes are seriously high right now

yeah Netero's son is on the boat, as well as The Prince who hired The Phantom Troupe to slaughter Kurapika's clan.

I have a feeling that Kurapika and Hisoka are going to have to team up at some point. And they haven't even reached the Dark Continent yet (for perspective, The Chimera Ant Queen came from the Dark Continent, so the enemies there are probably stronger than anything shown yet), the drama on the boat is crazy in itself.

There's only 3 episodes left:

129: “Transcending the Limit! Mastering Ultra Instinct!!"

130: “An Unprecedented Super Showdown.”

131 (series finale): “Goodbye, Goku... Until the Day We Meet Again.”       :(

then the wait until December (well, it will be longer than that for us Americans) for the new DragonBall Movie.

I'm hoping now that Sony owns Funimation, they will put some cash into getting the new movie a simultaneous US release. I think a theatrical run in the US would gross millions, DragonBall is bigger than ever now.

I hope Jiren wins, Universe 7 disappears and it ends on a cliffhanger. Anything is better than watching Goku win again.

that would be crazy, but (SUPER MASSIVE TOURNAMENT OF POWER SPOILER ALERT!!):

Spoiler:
Image

We already know that Goku will win, and will go a few years after the end of the tournament to meet Uub.

Hopefully the next Dragon Ball series takes place after the Peaceful World Saga, so we get to see what happens after Dragon Ball Z ended.

i'm just hoping that Universe 6 gets wished back to life. Champa, Hit, Chaulifa made things really fun to watch.

Actually...it would be pretty awesome if the next series paves the way for Uub to become the new hero of Dragon Ball as the series continues on. Having Goku train Uub and then nothing ever happening after that seems silly. I dunno how people would react to that though.

congrats tho. its about time those **** wipes won something.

FYI guys, T-Mobile is doing a promo on the S9 for preorder, 50% off with an S7 trade-in, so $360 off the full price, or $200 off with a Note 4 trade-in.

I really didn't want another Samsung phone, but the inner cheapskate in me, mixed with the fact I'll be getting the newest phone available specs-wise and don't think I can pass it up.

It is through 24 bill credits though, so essentially you're signing a 2 year contract.

Also they have a deal on LG phones, the VG30, VG30+ and the G6, buy one get one free, don't need a second line on this deal, afaik, so you can essentially go in, buy the phone, get a 2nd one free, sell said phone for like $550 and essentially get the phone for $250. No trade-in required either and you can probably get $200 for a mint S7 on LetGo, especially with the S9 promotion going on. That one takes a lot of inconvenience though. Although you also get 2 of the projectors for free too and those go for like $150+ each.

I'm wondering what kinds of deals they'll have on the G7 when it comes out in a month or 2 as well though? I wish they had the Pixel 2 on T-mobile, I'm sure they'd be offering competitive discounts on those right now too.

Dragon Ball Super -

Episode 129 was waste lol.... basically wait two weeks for episode 130.

Is that Ultra Instinct for Jiren as well? if not, pretty close and mean looking.

When this whole tournament started, I predicted the ending would be U7(our boys) but Goku shocking everyone and Zeno by wishing all the universes back. Could say that what was the point but this way Goku shows how much he wanted to fight only by securing the win and bringing everyone back(no harm?). This obviously would be an act against the Zeno and the gods/angels. Thus upsetting them then turning it into the battle vs the angels which some were hoping for.

Then comes out later we won't have anymore dbs thus eliminating the whole evil angels angle which sucks....

and if they use the wish to ONLY wish back U6, then thats royally **** up. Goku and Co. pretty much killed billions of lives LOL...

I would think that Goku would wish for the other universes to return or come to a resolution where the inhabitants of that Universe be revived in Universe 7.

Episode 129 was honestly a good reason why they need to go on hiatus and switch to a seasonal format for the new series. The first part of the episode reused a ton of animation from previous episodes and from what I've read, producing these episodes weekly in time to meet broadcast had become overwhelming. That being said I'm sure the animation for episode 130 will be mindblowing.

if you're looking for something to replace DragonBall Super once it ends this month, I recommend Tokyo Ghoul:re (starts next month):

It's the continuation of the original Tokyo Ghoul series and it adapts the currently running manga of the same name (TG:re), but here's the catch: you have to ignore the 2nd season of the original show since that storyline deviated from the manga. The manga ending to Tokyo Ghoul part 1 was entirely different but I'm sure this series will have some flashback episodes to explain everything.

I'd suggest reading the manga honestly before jumping into this. But its really good.

I absolutely loved the last episode of DBS. Was freakin epic.

Although, how do you hype up Ultra Instinct to this level, and basically you're saying Goku has mastered it, which is essentially the ultimate form of power that anyone could ever attain...and then you basically completely nullify it by showing Jiren powering up to a level that matches it in the next episode?

"This is the ultimate power that exists, only the angels have really ever mastered this type of power, because even the gods struggle with this...but oh yeah, Jiren powers up too, and it's still an evenly matched fight."

Goku and Jiren will eliminate each other and Frieza, whom I have no idea has survived the power ups, will use the Dragon Balls, probably a lame ending where he turns good and wishes everyone back.

I would be shocked if Freeza does anything but something nefarious with the dragonballs

Jiren forgetting about him is probably the most critical error that the guy has made here. Goku could fight him to a draw by the end of the time limit and Universe 7 wins because they have two fighters remaining. I'd actually hope that Jiren doesn't get erased though, he seems like the type that Goku would end up teaming up with in the next series to fight the next big bad guy.

No thanks to that. Ultra Instinct, while awesome looking, is already a huge power gap between Goku and the rest of Universe 7 and I hope it never comes back after this. I like Jiren, but I like Universe 7's Saiyans a hell of a lot more.

I also wonder if the next series includes Uub.

haha, I have a feeling the next show will be called "Dragon Ball Ultra".

there's no going back after this. The power gap is irreparable now because anyone who Goku faces will get destroyed unless they are in Jiren's tier, Beerus, Angels or higher. And there are people out there even stronger, the universes that were exempted from the tournament have more powerful beings. The next show is probably going to see a lot of the main cast sitting on the sidelines. I can't fathom Krillin ever getting involved again in a fight if the next enemies are stronger than Jiren.

This is why I felt too that while Jiren is cool, his addition to the story literally just screwed over every character not named Goku and Vegeta.
