I'm so mad that Billy King ruined the franchise and we don't have any chance of giving Kyrie a homecoming celebration.

Sean Marks just has to offer and force Dan Gilbert to like a Lin, RHJ, Goodwin, Kilpatrick, Nicholson, 1st rounder package. No big deal for the Marksman. I'm sure he's got agents all over Cleveland ready to kidnap Dan.

EC is open when were 5 years away from contending. LOL.

Less competition for D'Angelo to make the all-star team.

San Antonio was a place i thought of but there's nothing in return unless Cleveland takes LMA(and SA will sure be willing to do that)

The real question is how will Sean Marks navigate so the Nets don't end up a salary capped pretender that could potentially make the finals but can't win the chip (see: Toronto Craptors) like the Jason Kidd Nets in the early 2000s

I really don't care if he ends up on any of those teams. It impacts us in no way unless Marks wants to offer to take back some salary and a 1st rder.

so now the Western conference will end up being a nightly slaughterhouse with multiple super teams. we can quietly build ourselves up and maybe even pad our record a bit in the weak east to become more FA appealing. win/win

You have to admit it would be bad for us if he ends up on the Knicks.

Kyrie-Prozingis combo is scary.

Can anyone envision a narrative where, in a period of superteams, a Cinderella team comes out of nowhere to win the NBA title (like Leicester City in the Premier League), and this team is the Nets?

We would just need to make the 8th seed, and then grit our way through a weak EC field, and then in the NBA finals, Curry and Durant both go down with injuries.

Amirite?

Either way, Kyrie wanting out of Cleveland is probably good news for us. More trade possibilities where we can be a third team.

I bet he wants to be a Net, he grew up a huge Nets fan.

Russell, taking a bad contract, RHJ, Raps pick get it done?

i think our only route to kyrie would be something like sending russell, levert, and the toronto pick to a 3rd team who sends cleveland some win now assets.
