I only watch the Yankees play and even with the new line up of killer bats i doubt i will really lock in until maybe July (i'm sorry, baseball's season length is beyond stupid). Is there a backend charge if you don't cancel or does MLB TV black out local market games? i could feasibly get the service and watch games while i'm at work since baseball games start earlier than other sports.

The Dragon Ball Super manga version of the tournament of power is waaaaay better. the fat gets trimmed immediately and the Freeza/Frost betrayal was handled perfectly. Knowing how this ends, Freeza actually stands out more in the manga version. He trolled Frost and did Krillin and Tien Shin Han dirty

the way Number 17 starts beasting at the beginning just dropping dudes left and right, and Goku going 1 on 6 versus the Pride troopers was dope. i don't recall if the anime showed these moments.

There are no fees at all, your subscription simply cancels itself at the end of February. This will be the 3rd time I've had it through T-Mobile for free. Admittedly I don't use it a ton, but it's nice to have the option. I don't believe there are local blackouts, the 1st year I had it I watched a few Mets games in the car on the way back from job sites on long distance rides when I wasn't the one driving. Ewing or Princeton to Fairfield, NYC stuck in traffic, stuff like that.

Wound up going with the S9 btw, it's a pretty sweet phone. Still getting used to some of the changes though, no physical home button is just weird to me and although the fingerprint scanner on the back is nice, much preferred the scanner on the home button on the front. They said they improved on the S8's scanner, which was on the right of the camera lens and it is certainly better below, I feel it should have been lower, I still wind up putting my greasy digit right on the lens half the time lol.

The camera is really good, though the camera on the S7 was top notch to begin with, as silly a feature as it seems, the slow-mo in 960fps is super fun to play with. As usual, Samsung photos pop, but they saturate so much they are often somewhat washed out, just their style I guess, nothing new to the Galaxy's and Notes.

It's snappy quick though and the battery life has been pretty impressive with on screen time, though the S7 was really solid in that aspect as well at first, but battery degradation was a real issue with that series of phones. Samsung is claiming only 5% degradation on the S9's after 800 charges(2 year's normal use), so here's to hoping their claims are true in real world settings. With the S7 you're probably talking 15% loss after a year of steady use.

The software is still clunky overall, was never a fan of Samsung's skin and all their bloatware and doubling up of standard Android apps, but there are a lot of features that are very useful.

The edge screen is an enigma. To me it's still incredibly gimmicky, but it has some real world uses, like the Edge app drawer. I still would have much preferred a flat screen with slim bezels, I always felt it was a mistake to eliminate the regular model and Edge option and instead force anyone who wanted a Galaxy to get an Edge. The thing I most hate about it, is all the regular cheapo cases expose the entirety of both sides of the screen on drops if it doesn't land dead flat. I opted for no insurance as of now, because it's almost always a scam, but this screen makes me give serious consideration to a SquareSoft flat rate warranty.

The speakers are nice on this thing. I don't hear this amazing volume I've read about in many a review, but it's plenty loud and sounds like it's stereo. It's easy to appreciate the dual speakers including the front firing one even if it isn't dedicated and is also the ear piece for calls. And while we're at it, much props for leaving the headphone jack. What a load of BS it is that most manufacturers are now eliminating it entirely. If you use a dongle it effects audio quality and volume and God forbid you want to charge your phone while you have your headphones plugged in... I have 2 really nice pairs of headphones, one set of pretty expensive open back, over the ear Seinnheiser's. I've considered a nice pair with Bluetooth, but then you have to make sure you charge them, the quality is not the same on similar models which are wired and with all the **** we put in our bodies, do I need yet another wave going through my brain at all times?

Storage has been improved, which is much appreciated and it's nice that this phone is seriously future-proof with banding, it includes all the newer T-Mobile bands which are being rolled out more and more everyday.

The screen itself if fantastic though.

They still have the deal at T-Mobile, Samsung isn't offering nearly as good a deal anymore though, unless you want their discounted accessory package for $99. T-Mob's is still the bull **** bill credits though, killing any ability or option to trade the phone in or sell it for cash on your own before the 2 years is up though, if you didn't love the phone, something must have comes out, or you hit bad times and need to downgrade.

So just an update, there are blackout restrictions on MLB.TV. I distinctly remember watching a few Mets games on the app the last couple years, but it may have been because in West or South Jersey there isn't a blackout.

I don't know if anyone here is up on Pretty Lights, but my God... I remember the lyrics from Rza, "The dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum...", but this is music without words and it's so much more. The depth, the emotion it evokes. Invokes. Provokes. It's something else. If you can't feel Pretty Lights, either you're dead on the inside or hate music.

I wouldn't panic with that lineup. By the time they're 50 games in they'll probably be something like 28-22 and then it's only a matter of time til they go on some sick run for 30 games and go like 23-7 and then if they play even .500 ball from that point out they're a 90+ win team.

You might even be right about Boone, but man you Yankees fans are a spoiled and entitled bunch.
