Doesn't this description of Devin Robinson sound like he is meant for us:

A physical specimen, Robinson looks the part of an NBA forward with his chiseled upper body and explosive athleticism. He measured well at the NBA combine - 6'8.25 with a 7.0.75 wingspan - and posted a 35.5 no step vertical, the second best mark of all participants. He's still quite light at 190 pounds, concerning considering his age, but overall he has the tools that make scouts wonder what kind of player he could be in an up-tempo, switch heavy system with the floor spaced and ball movers next to him. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Devin-Robinson-72830/ DraftExpress

I brought up Robinson several times during the season and during the combine. the guy would be a perfect fit and is a lock long term role player. he plays big, long, and fast and is tenacious. id be happy reaching on him at 27 pr even 22 even though he is projected late second

one of my favorite players in this draft despite the low ceiling. would be thrilled with him

I know people here are hating on him, but this is bad for us regardless. With him and Jeanne out of the equation, the end of the first round lost some depth and it makes it less likely someone intriguing drops to 27.

I dont really agree... i mean technically yes thats 2 less guys but i dont think its about someone "dropping" the guys i think we should take are all late first or second round grades. and for someone to drop from liek say 10 or 12 to 22 probably means something is really wrong with him.

im all for trading up to get better talent but i dont think much changes with those 2 being out.

Well, both were considered prime stash candidates. That could be the difference in getting either Hartenstein oder Pasecniks at 27 or none of them. Just in case Marks really likes them as his second favorite choice.

I agree it's not guaranteed if affects the Nets, but it is definitely not good in any way.

Absolutely agree with this. Even if Marks didn't want to take Jeanne or Kurucs, a GM drafting at 21 or 26 might have and now they might be taking Marks' first choice instead. It absolutely has the chance to affect us negatively.

well for me its good in that i think both were going to be poor NBA players if they evenr saw the floor in the NBA. so really happy both arent in the draft although obviously not happy jeane left for health reasons.

if we can avoid Ivan Rabb ill be pretty excited with anyone we draft

From a talent/skill/system, they would seem to be good picks, but I'm not sure I'd go with 2 bigs, especially two lacking rebounding prowess. I'd like to come away with a guard or player that can handle the ball on the perimeter. I'm all in on landing one of Pascniks or Wilson, just unsure about the fit of both.

we need to bring this guy in if we can. his iq is off the charts and he hits tons of momentum shots.

I'm fine with bringing Milos in, but even if we do, I would still prefer bringing in a young perimeter player (PG or wing) that can handle the ball.

Teodosic is literally the greatest / most accomplished veteran Whitehead could ask for. I would be super excited if the Nets sign him for the sake of establishing a winning culture/locker room.

Yeah, I was about to say that earlier today. I'm starting to really become a fan of his game from what I've seen.

He's athletic as hell and his shot range is NBA ready. My only knock on him is his frame but I'd say his upside but the right team could mold him into a 6'10 Trevor Ariza.

I'm going to take a break from chasing the OG, Giles, Patton train and relax on the train that will be handed to us.

All Aboard:
Semi Ojeleye
Jonah Bolden
D.J Wilson

Handles, Range, Positionless
