The West is so freaking tough.
I'd love it if the DMC/AD pairing could work out very well.

Re: Around the NBA, 2016-17 Season thread
lebron is insane if he bolts for a western conference team next season. I would not want to have to play against Russell Westbrook/Paul George in a 2nd round match up. Two A tier players right there who compete hard. OKC is going to be a tough team to play against when your main two guys are both top 10 players and super competitive.
I think the Clippers and Blazers are playoff teams. Pelicans have an insane frontcourt duo but what else?

that is true, unless LeBron joins russell westbrook.....

Jebus, that would just be peak NBA if that happens. Don't get me wrong I'd be excited to watch the WCF, but that would just be overkill at this point.

If LBJ joined HOU or OKC, the WCF would be the Finals and it would probably be the highest rated, most watched series in history.

Whatever gets that dude out of our conference is fine with me. Nets will then be able to shoot up the standings quickly in the interim and lure a max tier FA that wants no part of the western conference slaughter house

OKC? I was talking about Westbrook, George, and James going to the Lakers.
But i can't see George co existing with James. George has become a real alpha dog.

I'd love to see that. What will they do, cut the basketball up into three pieces? three ball dominant players. I'm still wondering how Harden/Paul will coexist.

Those guys are friends so I think they will figure it out. Paul wouldn't want to play with Harden if he wanted to stay so ball dominant.
More interesting to see how they would make the money work. Would be much easier to do without trading for Melo.

No doubt, the idea that 3 very high A-tier (top 10-15?) players joining up is nuts. If people are complaining about super teams now it's gonna be worse when that happens.

I'd be ecstatic if Lebron goes west, but I just can't wrap my head around the idea of a team with George/Westbrook/Lebron. Parity be damned.

Hey, that's Magic's sweet dream, probably why he wanted to get rid of Moz's contract and how we got DRuss.
A guy who has a house there and want to do Hollywood, two LA natives.
LBJ surely would like to take revenge on KD and this is the way to go

I wonder if we'll get a national tv game?
Nets visiting the Lakers would be a good game. Russell is going to want to destroy them right in front of Magic Johnson.

How on earth are the Knicks able to host a Christmas game. That sixers Knicks game is going to be a **** show. No Spurs or clippers this year...
