Forget lotto protection. There were some really low lows with Kidd on the reins last year.

in the kidd thread, i gave kidd a c-

i thought he did an awful job as an in game coach, with proprs for giving this team and identity and direction. ill shed no tears over him, as i never liked him or wanted him in the first place.

my only real concern is the ramifactions from a free agency or future coaching standpoint. but a first rounder would really be worth all that and then some

Seriously though, Milwaukee can't offer anything more than simply cash for him right? They don't even have a vacancy to fill right now... it would make no sense for them to trade draft picks to replace someone they haven't even fired yet when it's pretty clear Brooklyn is going to fire Kidd anyways.

At the very most, maybe a 2nd round pick?

The Nets don't have to fire him right away. The Bucks expect him to run their team. They need him more than us at this point.

No scrub team gives up unprotected 1st rounders anymore.

i dont think money is a factor for the nets.
