Also not saying there’s any OKC rumors, just can see a team like them going for him.

Maybe it would be Bridges and Clax to Houston for all our picks back, one of their picks and Green or Whitmore. That could make sense for everyone.

I have posted this previously

IMO, Sharpe’ contract is considerably better value than Clax’ potential extension

Obviously we can afford to keep both but Clax will need to improve as there’s cheaper options out there

give me Whitmore, he's going to be a really good player. We already have CamT so I don't really think we need Green. They're both undersized shooting guards.

Hard to find a trade partner for Clax that give back a good return where you feel good about the trade. Tough spot for the Nets.

Where did you see that? Raps have always liked Claxton, but he seems like a weird fit now that they've been tearing it down.

Via the Raps board

it is kinda a weird fit because of Poetl but Claxton and Barnes together is a crazy defensive duo

id move clax for the right offer. finding centers in FA is doable. would need more back than the poeltl deal though. probably 2 solid firsts instead of 1. toronto only got top 6 protection on the 2024 pick they dealt, they are sitting 6th now so spurs could still get a top 10.

Only thing I can gather about the Raps is that Masai is a fan

GSW have concerns about Looney while OKC wants to take pressure off Chet to be the 5

OKC has several firsts in this years draft (considered mediocre) so I could see them taking a chance on UFA Claxton and trading for him. They would also be good with re-signing him to 25+ considering the number of rookie scale contributors they have. Their starting five would be ridiculous defensively for several years and I can see Claxton developing a jump shot over there.

just meant it speaks to the caliber of player Claxton is if those are the main teams.

A source told The Post the Nets rejected an offer of two first-rounders for Finney-Smith, reportedly coveted by not just the Lakers but also by the Mavericks, Bucks, Thunder, Suns and Kings. O’Neale could fetch a first-round pick, and has also been linked to the Mavericks, Nuggets, Pacers, Bucks, Timberwolves, Suns and Kings.

that article is a monster update. id imagine the 2 FRPs they turned down for DFS were weak picks, and probably coming along with dead salary that has -1 FRP value.

pretty interesting that he also mentioned the nets like murray and have interest but don't want to pay 2 FRPs. also that the nets like riu.

wonder if there ends up being a 3 team with hawks/lakers where dfs/oneale go to LAL, Dinwiddie and picks to ATL, then Murray and Rui to Nets?

who says no to this?
