This has to be a large trade. Don't think Mark is willing to come out of a trade with less picks. Two for two w/ off loading, I wonder who could that be. Were getting 15th and 20th pick.

Spoiler:
Turns out we are getting Paul George. Two picks for PG. Well, Mark did emphasis getting another wing.

If this rumor has any truth in it. That would mean Pasecniks is moving up in the draft and we aren't able to get him at 27th. Or we are looking to target Bam who has been moving up in the draft. I really don't think we are going after Patton. I say this is either Mitchell falling off or Bam moving up.

I think you're all reading too much into the trade up rumor. Marks always says he trades for players, not picks. It's probably just due diligence in case somebody he really likes falls into an attainable range. He'd be foolish not to have an idea of how high he can get for the 2 picks.

It's not that far fetched. Perhaps we acquire an additional 1st rounder from LAL or Portland. Makes it easier to move up.

Damn I want him so bad at #22. I knew he had a decent touch but it sucks he showed it pre draft because now there is no way he gets to #22.

Smart man. It's always awkward to watch the player or two who drop to the end of the 1st round.

ND is reporting that we worked out Giles last week.

I already mentioned it a while ago, but keep in mind, the Bulls traded the 16th and 19th pick in order to acquire the 11th pick and secure Doug McDermott.

However, McDermott has been traded for peanuts during his rookie deal while the Nuggets were able to pick up both Jusuf Nurkic (15-10-3 since being traded to Portland) and Gary Harris (super efficient player and one of the best 3&D prospects at the 2 spot).

If Marks uses both picks to trade up, it puts a LOT of pressure on him. I rather take two chances in the first round and hope at least one and at best both become starters. Especially considering how many modern bigs are dropping and will be available outside the lottery.

Now that we've lost our 27th pick, I hope we find a way to move up in the 2nd round. (something like a combination of our 57th pick + cash)

No worries...we do it every year. It's become our draft ritual.
