I like DJ Wilson a lot too. Could be a perfect fit to Russell/Levert going forward. Athletic stretch 4 sounds perfect for Kenny's system.
My gut feeling though says we are picking Harry Giles. I think Marks will take the gamble.

My gut tells me Nets bite on the Portland package of 20/28.

I can see Sac but for a player that can play now... We don't have an expendable one and not sure I want RHJ involved for a prospect yet.... RHJ for an established player I can mull it over.
Charlotte? ehhhhh i doubt it.
Detroit? bananas, unless they need cap space?
Denver, nah...
Miami? mehhhh
Apparently Denver is looking to trade down?
According to SI, Terrance Ferguson cancelled workouts with other teams some point after he finished working out for the Nets. People think Denver or the Nets gave him a guarantee. He's projected to go in the mid to low 20s, so it would make sense if the Nuggets gave him a guarantee that they would want to move down.

Some silly people on Twitter think the entire roster outside, say, D-loading or LeVert should be sacrificed (perhaps not all at once, heh) to move up in the draft.
Well, maybe if they can get a Top 5 pick, LOL.
Surrrrrrre Nets can get Top 5, even 10. Unless I'm missing something.

Re: The 2017 NBA Draft Thread - Live from Barclays, 7PM EST (ESPN)
Frank Jackson is an interesting 2nd rounder.
Dude is a freak athlete (42" vertical) and excellent shooter (like 40% from 3). With Russel playing point in the future Jackson would make a heck of a running mate since he can shoot it from deep and run the break. That would push Levert to SF full time though which he should be able to handle once his frame fills out a bit more because the length is there.

I'm trying to understand how a kid with his skill set was projected that low.

We're definitely targeting Donavan Mitchell if we move up into the lottery.

I hope we can get Semi Ojeleye. Would be perfect 4 for the future. I prefer Semi over DJ Wilson but I'd be happy with both.

I think teams are finally realizing his body frame is big enough to play a permanent 5 in the future. With his skillset, I think he'd be a steal.

Question is how long will they take to get to pick 22. Move-up?

Booker/Whitehead/22 for Faried/13. That is my guess.
Edit: More likely Lin then Booker.

I know the draft will start at 7. But any idea what time the first pick will be announced?
