Pistons are playing with pride because we spent too much time talking about the loss to them as our rock bottom, as if they are complete garbage, and no professionals like to be talked down to like that.

We should still win, but it's obvious the Pistons are playing hard, playing for pride.

Also it's dangerous to keep letting them hang around.

Bruce Brown has really come back to earth. If he's playing like this come playoff time I'm not sure he'll be getting many minutes. The guy doesn't give enough elsewhere if teams are not going to guard him and he isn't finishing inside. Backup guard/wing is definitely this team's biggest need.

So far our defensive rebounding is AWFUL tonight.

I'd be willing to bet that half of the Pistons points, maybe 3/4, came off second and third chances.

Right now we're winning because we're better, but the Pistons are playing harder. We have to match their intensity or we could be inviting another upset to this team, which would be embarrassing.

Pistons are shooting 10% on quality three point looks, but they've rebounded like all of those misses anyway.

Really poor half. It's the repeat of the first meeting between Pistons and Nets, except Pistons aren't making shots like they were that game. 13 more FGAs for Pistons in the first half, and they're crushing us on the boards, loose balls.
