Looks like Blake is also out tonight due to something with his left knee/load management. Was hoping he'd get a chance to show his facilitating skills in at least some limited spurts. Oh well :(

We have no one tonight lol.

No Kyrie, KD, Harden, Blake, Shamet, Dinwiddie.

At this point just forfeit the game.

Honestly I'm still a bit interested just because chances are we'll see TJ start, so maybe he'll have a chance to show what he can do as a primary ball handler... then again maybe I'm just reaching for reasons to watch

Detroit rested him on back to backs, so it's not surprising that we're doing the same (at least early on).

Watching basically for Claxton/ if jazz go up 12+ early i probably check back in the morning. If Blake was playing it would give a couple guys worth tuning in for but with him out thats like 25+ minutes of: TJ/Brown/TLC/Green/DJ

Zzz Zzz Zzzzz

thats like watching an ESPN classic of a jarret jack led nets team

The Celtics game thread is a fun read right now... bashing Kemba to no end for being awful and laughing as they lose on national TV.

but he was supposed to be some super team guy, winner, and upgrade?

Last night late in the game, the minute I saw both of Blake's knees bandaged like a mummy, I knew today would be a rest day for him. I'm sure if it were Game 7 he'd be fine to play, but I'm completely confident in our training staff's overly cautious approach.

We're a team of 30-somethings, and this season is a marathon, not a sprint. Sure, I would love to see Blake ball out as a featured player, on a night where the Big 3 are out. And of course, I would love to see us not get shellacked in this game. But I'm good with whatever outcome tonight, as long as we fight hard, stick together and come away healthy.

I started advocating for this (Sitting James) last night, right after we unexpectedly beat Portland short-handed.

IMO that made this Utah Game "house money" so to speak, so we can afford to try and win it without James (not impossible considering how well everyone else is playing, though obviously unlikely), but either way James gets the rest he desperately needs; tonight, tomorrow and then we'll see about Detroit.

Going small for what reason. More TLC minutes. This is just stupid.

The Bucks keep winning and we cant afford to fall behind. Theres never been a 3 seed in the Eastern conference that won NBA title in the following year(2004 Pistons were technically 2 seed due to the conference had 2 divisions back then). We have to fight for the top 2 spots to at least secure HCA for ECSF, otherwise we may as well just prepare for the off-season.

DJ having an impact on the offensive boards... no idea why he didn't start. But w/e, this is a throw away game.

After losing this game we will fall behind the Bucks, we have to climb back to secure top 2 seeds before the playoffs or the season is over, impossible to win the title as 3rd best team in the East.

The execs at ESPN are probably furious at the Nets for sitting Harden lmao. Dude is sitting on the bench eating candy. Too funny
