Well ... they believe they can play around close them out later from what it feels like. Playing with fire.

Joe being paid 20m for bricking open 3s and mediocre defense.

I hope Claxton is OK. Looked like he got scratched in the eye pretty bad.

The second half will be a test of this team's character. We played a terrible first half. Shots weren't falling. Gave up a ton of offensive rebounds. Let Davis have his way in the post. 2nd half of a back to back on the road. We could easily throw in the towel.

That was my fear, that we wouldn't take the Lakers seriously and bring the same energy.

So far that looks like it's the case. We aren't good enough to take any opponent lightly at the moment.

Luckily we are only down 9 and we can't shoot any worse, Lakers are a horrible 3rd quarter team and Davis has 3 fouls. We need to come out strong and kill what little confidence the Lakers have gained.

It's given, effort level nowhere close from what we've seen past week. They half ass'ing in a way that makes you question their sanity.

Smart way would've been kill their ass from the door.

Don't think it has anything to do with not taking the Lakers serious. We're just getting nothing today. A lot of missed open 3s. Missed layups. KD not touching the ball enough.

The worst 3 point shooting I have ever seen. All the Lakers have to do is double KD and leave our shooters wide open.

None of them can make anything to save their life. We desperately miss Curry. Harris garbage.

Also Marks not getting any type of backup Center is looking more and more stupid. Our rebounding is just horrible.

Theyre all **** idiots for not letting Kyrie back. What are they waiting for???

This team does not have the offense to survive right now.

The FO isn't very bright. They probably thought this squad as it was was champion caliber and didn't need any moves.

Meanwhile the team is running on fumes. Good defense I admit but the offense is G-leaguer level

That tech on Vaughn was ridiculous.

Can't believe y'all are talking about Kyrie right now.

Wtf was that delay of game call. That was the weirdest call I've ever seen.

They just started to play with some type of energy. Problem is LA running of hype with extra effort.

No signing a big is mental. The entire season the team has lacked rebounding and size, and the FO has done nothing. Its paying dearly now with no Claxton out there.

Refs aren't letting the Lakers lose this one. Between that weird tech and the refs letting KD get hammered, it doesn't matter what we do. We're also missing everything from 3 and they're making everything.

They didn't show up today at all. Probably thinking to come out with 500 record from this road trip.

This type games will come hunt us later in a season.
