you know what's funny - it's almost like the kd+kyrie+harden thing never happened and you're back to a young tough squad you had before.

now is the time to get a really good developmental coach - hell man, bring back atkinson.

I hope Marks is gone in the summer. He really hates legit Centers. Not even taking Ayton in this deal is so nasty, not even counting only 4 FRPs (no swaps)

If the team was gonna rebuild, then what was the point of that Kyrie trade??

Ughh I'm so sick.

Because we accepted this team wasn't winning **** a while ago.

We had Kevin Durant last season with Kyrie and we still got swept.

This **** wasn't working.

And to be honest, Durant is not capable of being the lead franchise guy. He learned it the hard way.

He gets injured every year. Can't be a leader. And was literally sonned by Jayson Tatum in the playoffs.

I think Suns are a good situation for him. But more of the same wasn't worth it to me anymore.

im still surprised by how much this return has been underrated by net fans since the summer. the only thing missing was ayton but with claxton that part didn't really matter.

bridges and cam johnsons +/- stats are insane this year. if cam hadn't missed time with the knee he'd be at the top of this list. these guys are 2 legit stud 3/d wings.

We have good pieces to develop with some unprotected picks and trade assets. Nobody is jumping for joy but we can build a team oriented style again like we did without them.

We did well considering the options.

At least yall won't have annoying ass bandwagon / casual "fans" no more n you'll see where the fan base really is at.

They all left with Harden anyways , Kyrie had haters only lol

I’d hope so considering he was a DPOY finalist and torched us last night lol

Bridges here until 2025 is great. We can extend Cam Johnson this summer with Claxton.

jaylen i assume? i can go back and forth on that one and it's really more style preference but ive never thought they weren't at least equal and probably tipping toward mikal bc of the contract.

imo bridges is middleton. perfect #2/3 co-star who also does a ton of important little things.

brown is better with the ball in his hands no doubt but i dont think he's a #1.

Ayton and Simmons can't be on the same roster due to their extensions. Designated rookie rule.

bringing in ayton also would have meant trading claxton. im an ayton fan but its hard to see a path around that, or a big justification to do it. claxton is going to extend cheaper, is the better defender, and who knows where the ceiling is?

And you will explain to Randles son that he’s daddy gonna play for Brooklyn? The kid sees Brooklyn jersey and he cries

maybe, need to see how he does if he's got to create for himself in iso as the top option.

id actually try to not put him in that position and give cam a more prominent role now. dinwiddie can take some of that too. i'd try to let him and cam j keep doing their thing in the roles they are already hyper efficient in (but with more volume).

i've kind of joined everyone else giving up on simmons but this is now a roster that totally fits his skillset if he ever got his head out of his ass. shooters and defenders everywhere.

No way did we have any chance of contending anymore and it was time to move in.

I wish we took the Lakers package though if we were planning on rebuilding. Not sure what the point of adding Dinwiddie and DFS was if were trading KD.

Exactly my first thought, Dallas trade seems pointless right now , Marks **** the bed

Stop. We want to be good without our own picks. Even if we didn't care about that, DFS+Dinwiddie+2 2nds + the filler we had to send >>>>> Westbrook & a 2027 1st. You can't value a LAL 2029 unprotected 1st any different than an DAL 2029 unprotected 1st.
