And the fact that Roy was running full speed with entire momentum while Sean was defending the guy who had the ball who dumped it to Roy and quickly had to turn around to attempt a block.
Sean should have played more. Him, Scola, and Farmar are what these kinds of all-star games need. Have fun, but play to win. If it means getting dunked on, so be it. But challenge the shot.

I dunno what happened between Williams and Aldridge, I was not watching the game last night, but in the paper here in Portland this morning, they were talking with Roy, and he was saying it was all in good fun, that he tried to dunk, Williams came over to challenge the play(Good for him, it is nice to see some defense attempted, and not just cower out of the way) and he missed the dunk, while shooting FTs he said they were just jawing back and forth, but in good fun. He told him he almost got him on ESPN. Either way, good for Williams for challenging the shot, I think. He's a great shot blocker, and if you're going to be playing in a game like this, might as well also try to make some big highlights by stuffing someone.

Well Sean was on ESPN anyway for his monster dunk. Roy should shutup and stop being cocky.

o i misunderstood you, my bad.
Oh, no worries. Guess I typed it weird, but yeah, he was just relaying to the paper, probably because they thought they were mad or something, and he said no, just the general good natured jawing that goes back and forth. All in good fun.
My only guess about him flipping off LMA is maybe Aldridge thought they were serious and, being Roy's teammate, maybe he said something to Williams. Or, he was still messing around, since LMA was smirking. Of course, he always seems to wear that smirk, so who knows.

LOL this is hilarious, go over to the Portland board that have a big thread whining about Sean's birdie and calling for a suspension ROFL, it's unbelievable how people will find anything to bitch about. My guess is that board has to be full of 14 year old kids who have to cover their ears when other people are cussing.

The suspension comments are just facetious. A fine is almost certain though, simply because it was national television.
But seriously, if he was just joking I have no problem with it. If he wasn't but LA said something, then whatever. But if it was totally uncalled for, then he's a punk and I don't know about you guys, but we don't particularly like our players being disrespected.

Man, I wish Sean Williams was on the Sonics because I like characters and Williams seems like an entertaining one. I love how everyone wants to throw the "thug" label at him because he smokes his weed, like a huge percentage of American youths in his age group don't chief. Blah. Dude plays hard, has fun and swears in a basketball game. If that's worthy of outrage from the general public then, please, kill me now, this is a world I'd rather depart from.
