Belinelli traded to Nets, there's this rumour here in Italy.
Nba Italian maximum expert and Belinelli's friend Flavio Tranquillo says about this Sure at 99%.

If this is true, for who?

Maybe for the possible picks for Marcus Williams back, in escence making it a Belinelli for Marcus trade?

Even if this was a swap for Boone I would be excited. It would force Opie to start Lopez and play Swat and would open up more time for the young bigs in general.

Belinelli still has a lot of potential as well and could become a very valuable sixth man.
He isn't really in favor on Nellie's team and they could use some legit size.

Hmm....

Good game tonight NJ fans! Brook really broke out used his size to his advantage on the smaller defenders.

Atlanta better win tomorrow!

I know its his break out game...but you have to give him credit doing it this early...I dunno if you could say if the Hawks had real answer...but
he's just an all around better player than Boone is after 6 games played in the NBA and I'm talking about a legit center...there is no reason why Brook cant avg/play 27-30min a night when Boone is healthy...and I think he's better off starting...(34min played tonight)

^^Even though i'm a Boone fan I might have to agree with you. We need "B-lo's" offensive production since we really don't have a reliable 3rd scorer. Just look at the other 2 starters:

Yi - 4 pts
Simmons - Zero pts..

As much as it pains me to say this, I'm pretty sure we would have lost if Boone had started instead of Lopez..

hey, I'm a Boone supporter too...I always said Thriller had to take the starting center pos. away from Josh...I think Boone will be just as good off the bench...

and yeh Yi, yo, you were nowhere to be found...Simmons is just a guy that starts...he was active in there on the boards a little bit...Dooling made some nice shots...I liked the dunk too..

Yi...
and I doubt Frank would move him over to 3...I would try it...we would find a lot of mismatches on our defensive end...but I'm sure he would create enough of his own for the opposition...

Team looked better with Boone out. Sean did well in the minutes he got and provided great energy. I loved how he was into the game and was the biggest cheerleader on the bench. Giving him at least 10 minutes a game is a good idea if only to keep him and the rest of the team focused and excited.

Anderson played a good game. He should be a good bench player for years.... Scalabrine plus.

Yi was bad. His defense and rebound was still good but he floated on offense. The coaching staff needs to get him comfortable in the high post to compliment Lopez. Stop letting him drift to the 3 pt line. If I were Frank I would tell him he is not allowed to shoot any threes and he must roll after every pick. I really hope this coaching staff doesn't squander his obvious potential.

Lopez was absolutely great. He was the foundation of the defense and he drew double teams! That is huge. When you have a big guy who can do that your offense improves dramatically.

Carter played as we've come to expect but Harris could be turning a corner. It is probably to soon to say that but two straight great games in which he is super aggressive in drawing fouls.

Frank is an idiot for giving Carter the ball that much at the end of the game. You can't just hand one guy the ball for the last five minutes of a game unless that guy is a top 5 player, and even then it should be mixed up. Give the ball to Harris some at the end and perhaps (at least in todays game considering how he was playing) Lopez.

It was nice to not see Hassell.

I was waiting to see if someone would post this...he's always jump around on the bench...in all reality, I'm sure that nameplate came down cause he cares that much about this team and felt bad he missed some shots he wanted to make...Frank was even encouraging when he was called for a blocking foul, after attempting to take a charge...good stuff...
