I was thinking this I thought he looked pretty good not trying to be a superstar.

I think Scola doesn't look that good. I don't care what +/- says. It's amazing how people have different perspectives. Keeps life and NBA bball interesting!

We'll see how it pans out.

I cringe when I see Lin stuck playing with Scola. Just not feeling it.

He's got 10/5/3 at halftime. What more is he supposed to do at 36? He's been outstanding. The defense or lack thereof is to expected. If he was a two way stud at this point of his career then he wouldn't be here. He'd be on a contender.

I agree with everything you say. It's all true. At the same time, his game has bothered me for years now. He use to be loads better in his 20's. He's lost a step and some quickness clearly but he still plays as if he can do the things he did in his 20's. Plus he cheats too much on defense instead of sitting tight.

I think he tries to do too much but he's aged so he can't really do what he thinks he can. It irks me watching it I guess. And I think he is a bit too thirsty for the ball. Ball hog? No way. But his style just bothers me. Do I think Scola will be a net positive? Yes.

I also really dont like Scola and Vasquez's 2 man game to nowhere. Share the ball and share the wealth. At least the 2 of them muck up the game and that counts for something.

I'll live with Scola playing 10-15 per night as long as he gets with the program.

Scola was more effective like a ZaZa P. 10 years ago and more effective especially on offense.

he plays slow. All his moves are slow. he needs a running start to dunk. he doesn't have NBA quickness in mind or body. Chris Mullin was slow but played fast and thought fast. Bennett could use some Chris Mullin in him.

in college as a freshman he played free. He was still slow but could over power weak college bigs and got rebounds off the ground for dunks over weak college bigs.

In the NBA the talent is a notch higher and he can't adjust or dunk over a Whiteside/ Deandre Jordan vs a college type Mark Madsen (sorry for the old player reference) quite the same.

I think Bennett needs to find the fine line of pushing people around and fouling.

RHJ's drives are terrible..
On October 31, 2009, against the Kings, a bat descended onto the court causing a stoppage of play. As the bat flew past, Ginóbili swatted the bat to the ground with his hand. He then carried the creature off the court, earning the applause of the crowd.

Not sure if I can cosign this -Whiteside is pretty accurately rated. Check out his stats on bballreference
