And this is why they didn’t want him playing there.

see this is EXACTLY why I said I didn't want him to play in these meaningless ass games where he's getting fouled every time he puts the ball on the floor.

now because of this, he loses time and training camp begins next week. WTF.

I am seriously pissed off right now. this is some bull ****. utter **** ing bull **** :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Another **** ing setback for the Nets. its like it never ends. oh here's a rookie we have with promise oh he wants to play for his national team that isn't winning **** in the world cup or Olympics oh hey yeah he just got hurt

Oh well, the life of a Nets fan. Why am I not surprised with our fate?

Seems like it isn't serious at all and also Musa is known as a bit of drama queen.

Hmmm that doesn't sound too good, we've already had one of those. Hope he grows a pair sooner than later.

More comments from coach Kenny:

I don’t want to get carried away, it’s early, but good so far

I'm not ready to put him at the starting point guard, but I think he could eventually be a secondary or third ball-handler. He's pretty skilled, more skilled with the ball than I thought

I see him two, three. Two is probably his position. That's a nice size. I think I referenced Mike Dunleavy. He's 6-9. He's tall. He's got to get stronger obviously

I'm interested to see how his game will translate, I can see the Mike Dunleavy comparison

I would be shocked if he doesn't spend most of the season with the main club. he's too skilled.

i prefer he play mostly with long island nets, i dont see him getting much playing time with how deep the roster is this year. it would have to be numerous injuries for him or kurucs to get any playing time. i think after the trade deadline if we trade carroll or so i can see him getting minutes and next year for him to be his year.

Musa is very talented but he has LeVert, Russ, Dinwiddie and Napier in front of him. Very tough for the rook to break through.

Good thing he is only 19 and has lots of time.

Sean Marks has given opportunities for Foye, Sean Kilpatrick, Isaiah Whitehead, etc to contribute on the roster. There's no doubt with the way Musa is playing, his opportunity will come.
