And I know this is going to sound like some BS lol, but I think Charlotte is being heavily slept on by almost everyone, fans to media.

I thought the Hayward signing was underrated, Ball got some skills and some swag, they have a lot of athletes and some shooting and I’m a huge PJ Washington fan and like Graham.

I felt like they could be a 39-42 win team based on a 82 game season, so maybe 34-37 wins based on 72.

Nah I feel the same way. They should at least be pushing for one of the last two playoff spots because they've got the talent for it. Even their bench looks good without any established names.

Charlotte can be in contention for 8th seed, but nah, they're rated fine I think. They do have more talent than most people think but nothing that truly makes them stand out above the rest of the East teams looking to get into playoffs.

Graham’s got our number, he came with some big time plays.

I’m not upset over the no tech call. Jay was not thinking when he did that step over.

I believe part of our lackadaisical play can be blamed on the coaching staff. Call a time out and regroup. Shamu should have been yanked way sooner.

The Hornets played well on both ends and earned a hard fought W.

I appreciate the effort of our guys coming back from down 16 to almost stealing tonight game.

Hopefully Spencer injury is not serious.

I feel like most of the media has penciled them in as a bottom 3 team in the league though and I don't think that's crazy either, but at the same time, I think they'll be in the play in tournament for the final 2 seeds come spring time.

I thought the same thing, he went out of his way to shove Jarrett to the ground. That's a textbook tech.

I'm not excusing Allen, either. He did not look malicious, but his idiot genius @rse needs to know that when you do the most disrespectful thing on a basketball court, you can expect retribution. I've never seen a more innocent stepover, I was both amazed and horrified.

Even before tonight I felt that Shamet has looked really bad out there... Oh well , guess we won't go undefeated anymore

That I agree with, they're not a bottom 3 team. They have talent to beat any given team on a night. A lot of scoring and playmaking out there, and athletic dudes who compete hard defensively.

Gave me PTSD vibes of the Nets-Magic game in 2013 after we beat the Big 3 Heat with Pierce/KG/Deron/Joe/Lopez in the home opener. We lost at Cleveland in the season opener, beat Miami on ESPN Friday, blown out at Orlando the next game.

I’m concerned with our effort against the Hawks series coming this week.

Yeah gave me a bad taste too. You'd think after missing so much time and all uncertainty they'll take things as privileged it is. Welp here we are.

Our homegrown guys need to pull their big boy pants up and embrace the spotlight of a contender. Jarrett has and don’t get me started on DJ...

I thought this was a great effort by our team tonight. they brought it and we matched their effort for 48 minutes. Our bench just couldnt hit a shot to save their lives until TLC came in. I mean honestly, we absolutely dismantled them offensively. We had wide open 3 after wide open 3, after wide open 3. i mean if shamut goes even 1-8 we probably win.

Shamet, Prince... these guys are outstanding shooters. they got wide open uncontested looks and missed them all. you have nights like that. no need to be rash and make changes. Those guys will end up at 40% when its all said and done which means some hot nights as well.

Kyrie was unreal again. a few sloppy turnovers but he kept us in it with shot after shot after shot. KD missed a clutch one, i dont hate that shot from him. Didnt help that the hornets hit some a ton of circus shots.

Allen/Jordan were both awful protecting the rim. need to be better.

Lost leaves a bad taste in my mouth cause we outplayed them, but satisfied with the effort and great to see KD/kyrie continue to mesh and play like MVPS.

Levert/Shamet/Prince = 2-20 from three. 14 of those were uncontested.

On second watch, we had a chance to BURY the, in the second quarter but just missed open 3 after open 3. one possesion levert, prince, and shamet all missed wide open 3s.

Charlotte also scored a ton of points in transition off missed threes with long rebounds. so alot of 5 point swings on those.

they went up 16 late. we never wavered or got frustrated. we went on a 14-2 run like it was nothing. we got stops, we hit big shots.

we deserved a win tongiht

DJ really needs to be better. When he's not in engaged, his effort is so deflating to the rest of the team. Not saying he's at fault for the loss or anything but there are times where we had great defensive possessions only for him to just stop trying and give up a wide open layup or 3. That's just not gonna get it done. I could excuse it if he was trying his best and just not good enough. DJ skipped out on the bubble. Looks a little out of shape. He's taking minutes away from JA. He just needs to step it up to justify the starting job.

Right now, Shamet is shooting 13% on 3s. Mostly open shots too. Only 3 games but man, not a good start. We could easily play TLC or Bruce Brown over him so he needs to get it together fast.

DJ needing to be better is an understatement. Why the hell are you so hellbent on starting if you are going to be forced onto the bench for pathetic effort and defense? Just come off the **** bench then. This dude is literally holding us back whenever we start off a quarter.

Once Nash sees Claxton out there when he’s healthy, it’s going to get real awkward starting Jordan over Allen and not giving minutes to Nic as a backup if he’s going to continue to play sloth ball.

This dude legit wants to just get dunks and uncontested rebounds. I don’t even see the guy going after blocks in the paint.

the claxton garbage needs to end. he makes nothing akward for anyone. he is a gleague level talent who can hopefully stick on the team. people called for him to take allens spot last year and now DJ?

Not going to happen.

Fist post of the season! Only 3 games in, while disappointing to lose to CHA after winning the first two, it’s bound to happen(this kind of games).

Starters started off slow but got going at the end however the bench really destroyed us IMO. As many mentioning, the brick after brick was so terrible, why not change it back to simple offense?

Prince is wasted space, really such a negative again for this team... he does nothing well.

Boy don’t I want to say my piece on Shamat!!! But holding it in, giving him more time,.... but no bueno for such a “3 pt threat”.. still early

Lots of turnovers and really just zero help on the bench... I think Nash needs to the change the whole hockey line shift approach... gotta split Durant and Kyrie... not sure we should continue the two on two off approach.

I don’t think Levert is meant to carry the bench right now... probably needs years as the main ball handler distributor which IMO is not using him at his best. Can he direct an offense? Yea, but its not exactly smooth.. yet... more time but idk... rather Spencer take that role

Oh yea Kyrie was so filthy and amazing, he’s going to be great for us!

KD’s missed tying shot, he makes that 9.5 out of 10... unlucky there....

TLC did come through and saved the day, play that bubble sensation!

There should’ve been a tech on Rozier... you’re basically saying anyone can go in to push someone to the floor without consequence..... that was horrible..

Hope we have some ball in our guys and pushed back.. can’t be tossed around like that.
