Doc Rivers talking about Nets missing Jeremy Lin : "It's like us missing CP, Blake for our team."

That's a direct quote from Doc Rivers. So you are laughing at Doc like you know more than him. LOL to you

Exactly. He's not saying Lin is as good as them just the Nets miss Lin like they would miss CP or Blake. If you look at our record with and without Lin he has a valid point.

the stats don't lie. We were better with him than without by a huge margin.

no **** we're better with him....

doesn't mean the w/l would've changed dramatically either.... Lin's best play is still not that of CP/Blake.... so i'm not gonna act like ohh he's our equivalent to a CP/Blake... Take them two off the LAC and its a different horrible team. Take Lin out, not so sure about the difference.

16 games, Lin has played in 5 games. 2-3 record.

You just made the case we're SIGNIFICANTLY getter with Lin:

With Lin: 2-3: Winning percentage of 40%
Without Lin: 2-0: Winning percentage of 18%

That PLUS the other ridiculous numbers showing how much better we are with him on than off the court...just do the math, dude.

compare a 5 game sample to a 11 game sample.... yep, makes sense to me.

CP3 and Blake are Clippers' playmakers... Lin and Lopez are Nets' playmakers... is it that difficult to comprehend? smh...

People are just bored. Doc was complimenting Lin and exaggerated a little. Happens all the time.

So Lin prolly suffered a Level 2 sprain/tear of his hammy.

Damn, didnt seem like he did much when he tweaked it.

Was he exaggerating? I seem to remember when they lost Blake they played pretty decent. Look at us though.

I don't get the issue with Doc's comment. Lin is a proven difference maker who has routinely given the Clippers fits. He had like 26 against them in LA with Charlotte without Kemba. So, in an objective persons eyes they will see Lin as our best player.

We are much better with him than without him. His first home game was 22/9/9. Nobody else on the court right now is capable of doing that even against lesser talent. The Hornets were worse without him in a much lesser role so it isn't just a sample size.
