Not good to rush him back, remember MKG last year?

How many times do people have to repeat that NOBODY wants him to rush back and possibly reinjure himself. What people want is ANY information on status or ballpark return date. :banghead:

he'll be back on the day that he's ready to play. that's all anyone needs to really know

That's all anyone knows for sure. But needs to really know is debatable. It's not wrong, but it would be nice to know some more about such an important player on the team. I think Lin plays so hard, borderline reckless to his own body, and the minute he's back on the court, he'll play that way. So, try to get him in the best shape possible and if there's a slight setback, he's not ready.

think about it. People are in panic now because its taking long for him to return.

If the nets set a date, not only could they risk pushing him back out there well before his body is ready, but it will also cause more panic if they say a date and then he misses that date. it's a no win situation, so its best to say that his return date is TBD. The Nets are handling this correctly.

Why not just throw out a very conservative estimate date associated with whatever level of injury he has? For example, if has a Level 2 injury and the outlook is anywhere from 4-10 weeks, you could say Lin will be out 8-12 weeks (as a conservative estimate), and if he comes backs in 7 weeks, well everyone's happy. If he's out for longer, then the medical profession needs to do a better job of estimating.

Actually I'm surprised that people are less curious about LeVert's status.

LeVert was supposed to be okay for training camp when he missed the summer camp, then the target is the season opener when he could not play in training camp.

a bit over a month into the season, he finally is cleared to practice fully with the team, but I'm curious that he is still not cleared to play the game yet, what is it?

he's practicing with the team. he needs to get into basketball shape and get more time in on the floor first before he's ready to go in games.

LeVert will be available on Monday! Good news. Hope KA play him.

Talk about an inauspicious start to Jeremy Lin's new revival as a starting PG. Its almost as if God is telling him and his fans that its not to be, by striking him down with injury :O

Well at monday night/tuesday morning gonna be interesting as hell for BRK. We get to dissect Caris Levert's debut and see how the whole Motiefunas offer sheet situation goes down.

See? It's a no win situation. You can't just guesstimate if you're talking about a soft tissue injury.

If you read that way, he was told repeatedly in his all basketball career already, nothing new. He got no scholarship from any D1 schools, not drafted, was cut multiple times, had a good run in NYK, and was not wanted soon after, went to Rockets, and got traded, was trashed in LAL..........

Not surprise that list would go longer and on and on.

If DMo deal pans out and with LeVert playing, the roster is going to look significantly different when Lin return, in a very good way.

Would be fun to see DMo and Lin extend on the chemistry they built in Houston for two years if DMo comes to Brooklyn. DMo's passing and court awareness - in addition to the scoring punch he would bring, make for very interesting possibilities

If you decide to bite down on the Cynanide capsule, can you say "Hail Hydra" before you pass into the next world?

Haha, if I had any internet skillz, I'd put up a picture of Melo whispering into Dolan's ear, "Hail Hydra".

We have to forget about Lin for now, although I really wish he would come back soon, and focus what LeVert and Dmo(10 more hrs?) can bring to Nets. Nets had the best 3rd quarter last game without Lin,LeVert and Booker, we could see a much better team when they all come back to join these much struggled but improved teammates - specially on SKil, Booker,Whitehead, Harris, some on Brook and Bojan.

Sounds like Lin needs some more time still.
