Man I messed up.

I took Denver as a pickem, but never hit submit in-game for Utah for the hedge when they were down big, think they were +11.5 when I went to put it in smh.

that's why you're supposed to get boozed up after you place your bets dude :noway:

Turned into a hell of a game though. Murray going cold after the thigh injury definitely helped the Jazz, that’s for sure.

Definitely. One of the best games of the year. It felt like a 90’s game.

Mitchell is a baller and he’s got a hell of a future ahead of him. I do think he will end up forcing a trade out of Utah soon, though. The Knicks are probably going to land him and it’s going to suck but I’m truly happy to see him rise into a new tier of stardom this year.

Denver continues to fuel my prediction last season about becoming the next Golden State / Milwaukee of the league in the future. Jokic is better than Embiid and that debate should end up immediately. Denver is going to be so scary when they return to the altitude home court advantage.
Mitchell ain't going anywhere, he's on a rookie deal, and about to get locked up on a 5 year deal. Knicks can stop dreaming.

I keep getting those Detroit Pistons vibes with this Denver team i dont know why. I remember when Pistons was down 3-1 to Tracy Mcgrady's Orlando Magics and the Pistons came back to beat those Magics. Those pistons made it to the ECF but Ofcourse us Nets swept them to get to the finals. But the next year those Pistons won the chip. They made the trade for Sheed and it was no looking back. That Denver team maybe one piece away.

I think they win it this year.

I think they shock the entire city of LA, back to back rounds and get to face the likes of Boston in the Finals, who they molly wop, expeditiously.

The Clippers are going to win it all at this rate. Nothing would cap 2020 off as the “new normal” than Laker fans seeing the Clippers hoist a championship.

lol wow that's a hot take. I don't see that happening, I see the Clippers beating them in 6 games. But it would be nice to see an upset or a shocker in the finals. I'm tired of knowing who the teams are going to be in the finals by the start of the season. I think they're one main piece away. Maybe Michael Porter becomes that guy.

Man the Bucks are frauds lol that was a horrible foul call at the end though but either way Bucks shouldn't be getting out played this bad.

To be honest, I knew something was off when we beat them without LeVert, Harris, Allen playing.

Regular season or not, something felt truly off and they’ve shown nothing less than that against Orlando and now against Miami. They need to seriously try to go all in on CP3 this fall.

Yea that CP3 would help tremendously. Giannis shouldn't win the MVP again. I don't know of any MVP that can't get a bucket in the half court when needed to or at least in clutch moments. The dude cannot make a basket outside of the paint, it's hard to watch. At least CP3 would put him in the right positions. Maybe I'm undervaluing the HEAT and how great of a coach Spo is.

We'll have to see if that collision with Ingles and Murray affects him though, he looked hobbled and crappy after that happened. If it lingers they have zero shot.

That call on Giannis was horrific. However, Miami has looked like the superior team with their depth, inside play from Bam and their array of shooters.

I would enjoy a Boston/Miami ECF. I actually hope the Heat get to the Finals.

That call was atrocious, but so was the one on Dragic that tied the game.

An epic failure of an ending no matter what though.

Let’s even talk about that call on Harden at the end of that game... total and utter nonsense. But they chose Gallo to take the foul shot and #BallDontLie...

Then they botched the play call and inbounds, why they had SGA inbounding the ball to begin with, or Adams on the floor escapes me as well...

I would have been hot if OKC won the series though, I wanted to take them for the series but waited too long and it went off the board like a half hour before tip of game 1.

Someone on Twitter presented the conspiracy theory before game 7 even began though, that the NBA was going to do their best rig job on the game because China isn’t airing any Rockets games since Morey’s comments and not having the Lakers aired in China would kill a lot of revenue. Idk haha.

If HEAT goes to the finals they're almost guaranteed getting a big time star in free agency. Maybe Giannis jumps ship to them. But either way hats off to HEAT. nobody thought they would be this good, and they draft very well. They're rookies are playing like vets. They have a top 3 coach in the NBA. I won't sleep on the Celtics either

I can't see Giannis playing for the Heat if they get beat by them.

Chris Paul with another playoff choke job. Clearly avoided the ball whenever he could, missed a point blank shot that could have tied it, and that last play where Dort got blocked was a direct result of Paul wasting all the time on the clock before making a move and almost turning the ball over again (the first time was a couple minutes before when he got stripped by Gordon when he was trying to be too cute with his handle). Was overall completely invisible down the stretch other than the bad plays.

And that's kind of been the story of his playoff career. Defers to lesser players at the worst possible times and becomes a spot up shooter.

He's the main guy that's the poster boy of being a monster when it comes to +/- and advanced stats, but there's something about him that holds him back from the greatness that the numbers suggest. IMO, it's the passiveness. He becomes a John Stockton. Very good player, but not a true superstar. Defers and takes himself out of plays way too much.
