Because our coach is OVERRATED. I have been said he is WAY in over his head. He is.

How you over rate rookie coach who's only few months into this gig :D

Calling a T.O. after that 3 was a no brainer, then we take it out at half court instead of under our basket.

In his defense, I don't know if there was even time for Nash to call one before Joe Harris brain sharted.

It's one thing to be below average defensively. It's another to give up buckets every single possession without making the other team work for it. It's not even about personnel at this point. Just pride. Just basic effort. If you don't bring that to the table, idk what to say.

BTW TLC is a choke artist. Second time he choked on the last shot verses Washington.

First he missed a wide open 3 ... okay, it's a 3, still a tough shot ... but now he blows a layup!

I can't believe people are downpalying this. These losses add up. We have lost way too many games to bad teams.

We can't keep winning games 140-135. Its not sustainable .

This team has an insane amount of talent and yet plays like garbage. No concept of team defense. You cannot win a Championship this way.

Brown is bad FT shooter.

Shamet should have been in.

If it was up to me, I'd leave Shamet in DC. No one been worst than him.

We are 8-3 in the last 11 games, coming off of a 4 game win streak. I'm not going to have a heart attack over this.

That should have been communicated to the whole team before the play.

If they hit a basket, especially a 3, call a T.O. and we'll take it out at half-court.

This narrative that Brooklyn can outscore teams and win games is false. Seen this episode of losing to bad teams (Cavs, Wizards) too many times already. Not sure this offensive minded coaching staff has what it takes to fix their countless defensive collapses.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

Did you watch the last two games? Shamet's actually been useful out there.

Haha I feel the same. What's wrong with us? I should be cursing Joe and TLC right now, but after going 8-2 in the last 10 entering tonight, I think we all know it's gonna be a process to the playoffs. Now if the team somehow puts itself in danger of missing the playoffs, that's an entirely different story.

We barely won all those games and didn't play a lick of defense. Thats not what contending teams do.

Because they never really cared about the game/the Wizards. We consistently play down to competition, because they feel like they’re above them.

They went on cruise control after they started blowing them out at the end of the 1st quarter. That’s also probably why Kyrie looked like he was sleepwalking through much of the game.

48 points in the fourth quarter......wow

What a collapse.

We can point fingers at Nash , Joe or TlC.... but team defense needs to be addressed.

Congrats to the wizards they fought hard for the win tonight
