Kyrie being out again tomorrow makes me concerned. IDK wtf is wrong with him.

This season is starting to look worse and worse.

He hurt his shoulder in the Jazz game, played through it in denver. he is day to day with a shoulder injury. it seems to have really effected his shooting, and the nets are typically very cautious with injury. so id assume its probably another game or so before he is back

This season is starting to look worse and worse.

much better than this time last year :D

But are more smart about what they tell the media. Kawhi is at an advantage at the end of the year when he has more energy than other stars

I don't know if this was load management. Irving's efficiency started to dip and the shoulder issue seems to be a culprit. The Nets training team is notorious for not playing guys until they are 100% or better so he will sit til the issue heals up.

it was clear the shoulder was effecting him. his threes were way off... maybe you can say he hit a cold streak, but he also wasnt finsihing anything at the rim, and kyrie is an elite finsiher.

he should take his time, we need him healthy

Let him heal up. We want him at 100% and clearly he hasn't been.

Guys need to step up.

We don't know.

The Nets held off official announcement for him Monday until Monday afternoon. Then, after the game, we found out he was already ruled out for Wednesday. To me, that says sometime on Monday, the training and medical staff had to re-assess the severity of this injury. Perhaps at first they thought it would be a 2- or 3-day deal, and now they're bracing for far worse.

I don't mean to fear-monger, I'm only reading tea leaves, I have no inside information.

Not very good. He doesn't know how to run the offense and the ball sticks in his hands a lot for someone who should be looking to move the ball as much as possible.

I miss Shabazz.

Until Kyrie is back, it's going to be difficult to win.

*sigh*. At the 2 minute mark.

Irving's attitude seemed fine to me last night when he was cheering his teammates on and messing around on the bench, so where this stuff comes from I have no clue.

He literally just said he's hearing things from people, and that he doesn't think it's fair. Like, what a vague statement, that he immediately distances himself from too. Like, which people? Bitter Knicks/Celtics fans within the media, or legit sources that are close to the team? And why would it be unfair in that case, unless you know it's coming from people that wouldn't know what they're talking about?

He's clearly just starting ****, cuz none of the players or coaches have said anything bad about him, and visibly, it doesn't look like there's anything wrong when he's on the bench cheering the team on.

I would love to hear the Nets from Sean Marks on down to publicly refute this and call Stephen A out to name his sources, because it seemed Stephen A conveniently slips this in there to start a narrative because Boston is off to a hot start.

"Attitude," huh?

The only thing I've read on that front is his refusal to wear the physical metrics trackers that the rest of the team wears in order for the physio dept to better monitor player health.

Regardless, I would think that when you bring in players of Kyrie's and KD's stature, you naturally expect a certain amount of... "imperiousness," or... "attitude"... things in that realm. The same that you'd expect from 90%+ of other superstars. Or if you dial that kind of thing up to 100, you have a total prima donna like Kawhi Leonard.

Kyrie isn't anywhere near that AFAIK. He's surely somewhat in his own head at times, but he's not a passive-aggressive, manipulative type from what I've seen. His intentions are honest & honorable IMO. Same with Durant, I think.

This is third or fourth person I'm hearing from that being close to Kyrie on a regular basis and I haven't heard no negative vibes. This witch hunt needs to stop because it's straight up aggravation.

I'm glad Jarrett called it lies. I hope when media access begins tomorrow the entire team calls it exactly that.

There are two other reporters quoted on there that are close to the team that also deny any reports of attitude issues with Kyrie.

So again, who is it that's saying he has a bad attitude? Certainly nobody that would actually know, from the sound of it. And just like there are a lot of Knicks and Celtics fans out there that have their biases and don't like Kyrie either because of how he left or because he chose us, I'm sure there are plenty of those in the media as well that feed Stephen A this info.

Which reporters?

Anyway, it looks like Stephen A tossed a grenade in the room and ran. He couldn't even stick by what he was saying, he threw some conjecture out there to start a narrative that we have seen next to no evidence for especially with the way we see Irving interacting with the players and coaches

I love how the next important question in that AMA is:

FollowMe wrote:Have u ever needed to use the bathroom during a game?

"No, we don't believe in that. Our coaches encourage us to wear mens incontinence briefs. The fit is good, and they feel lovely.

Would... would you like to see mine? (wearing them now)"
