The fun is getting started, they can tear each other apart for all I care. Kyrie is a POS and I hope he fails miserably and hope that Nets fans at Barclays give him the same treatment Boston does at TD. Boston doesn't boo him because he took his talents elsewhere, they boo him because he implodes teams.

Crazy that it took this long for KD to finally cut off Kyrie.

If he did this years ago we wouldn't be in this mess.

Should have traded Kyrie as soon as the vaccination thing started.

Meh, KD will be hugging and hooping with Kyrie in the offseason. This is all theatrics and drama for now.

I just noticed by 2029, we have three 1st round picks (Ours, Suns, Mavs) and four 2nd round picks.

I definitely think we’re going to flip Cam for a early first or multiple seconds in 2027/2028.

Mikal Bridges is really good. Not "best player on a title contender" good, but good enough to be "best player on a lower tier playoff team" good, and good enough to be "2nd best player on a title contender good".

Him and KD together would have been the perfect combo honestly, better than KD and Kyrie imo. But oh well. One big free agent signing or a trade where we can hold onto Bridges and Claxton and bring in another KD level player, and we're back in contention imo...as long as we upgrade the head coach.

In fact, we've seen teams that didn't have any superstars and just a bunch of very good players do very well in the RS before and even win a round or 2 in the playoffs, with the right coaching. No reason we can't do the same for now. Still confused by the Vaughn extension, he's clearly not a good coach.

What's your criticism of Vaughn? Curious to hear... I've actually been pretty OK with his coaching so far even though I was highly skeptical early on.

I don't agree with all of the rotations but he's night and day better than Nash.

This trade is looking better and better in retrospect.

Imagine if we kept the team as is. Simmons going AWOL, KD getting constantly hurt and Kyrie's constant antics.

I think its pretty clear now that we were not going to be able to seriously contend with Boston or Milwaukee this season. No way do we keep that 4 seed without KD.

We probably fall to 5 or 6. And then what? A second round matchup with Milwaukee? No thanks.

Not to mention, Bridges is looking like an absolute star.

The decision to pull the trigger when we did was the best move.

:-? I never left, I just decided to shut up because I don't want to be a negative presence or a debbie downer.

I haven't been watching games either (or any NBA in general tbh...i'm just over it) so i really don't have much to offer in terms of discussion. But KD rolling his ankle and missing the rest of the reg season...heh. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

it's the life we chose a long time ago when we signed that invisible contract to become a fan of this team.

We ride the highs, roll with the lows, and always come back with our fandom hats on the following day.

But I agree... I don't always post here and actually stopped for like 2+ years lol because even though we were stacked with start and great role players, there was always just a negative vibe I had with that team... and yes it was Kyrie.

I'd still love to roll back the clock and see what couldve been if we had just KD and Harden here today and skipped the whole Kyrie thing all together.

Man I was a Kai defender even I gotta admit if he just took the shot for the team or KD stepped up as a leader and asked for Kai to be shipped out if his not getting a shot. That Harden and KD combo with pieces would of been more dynamic duo we would prob gone far that covid year still.

I stood through 12-70, the DWill/King debacle and neither of those things made me more turned off to the entire sport than Kyrie and KD's sh*tshow. Those two pricks + Tsai + Marks have killed my love for the NBA.

Like I literally can't stand watching any NBA game now. Tried watching Suns vs Mavs and i got seriously irritated. Turned on the Nets/Houston game to give it a shot, but i was just so disinterested and ended up turning on HBO Max.

Feels like I lost something that probably won't come back. I asked myself why am i emotionally attaching myself to a team and i couldn't answer why. Since then I've been more into the NFL offseason and baseball gearing up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing any harm on KD. But he has zero sympathy from me. If anything, i feel bad for Suns fans.

I'm glad the vibes are getting better. I see Mikal's numbers and i think he's legit. I just don't feel like dedicating my time in the evenings to watching

Once we start winning again, move on from the Ben Simmons saga, and get some new blood-firepower in here, you'll find that rejuvenated feeling again.

That smile Mikal Bridges has is pretty infectious...

I think i just need some time, you're right.

Mikal seems like a really good guy, no ego just wants to hoop. He's the guy I should be excited to root for.

16 games left and outside of 2 games vs Denver and 1 v Sixers, the remaining 13 games are winnable though i would cough up 2 games to Kings and Cavs(we play 2x, expect a split).

So 11-5/10-6 record down the stretch....

well we got no choice.... i ain't luving us really but gotta cheer on!

Just need PHX to keep dipping if possible.

Keep dipping? They're on a 4 game winning streak. No Durant hasn't seemed to affect them much.
