He and the other Mavs are on a plane now. Will meet with your team's doctors at noon.

So if the latest reincarnation of the deal goes through, the Nets would ship out Kidd, Malik Allen and Antoine Wright. In return, they would receive Harris, DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager, Trenton Hassell, Van Horn and his expiring contract (Diop has one, too), two first-rounders (2008 and 2010), $3 million cash and a pair of trade exceptions, valued at $5.1 million and $1.6 million. They can be used in future trades - but can't be combined

Great job guys!

Yes, I would be mad if Kidd was on my team and he was traded. However, getting Harris, two #1's, and cap relief is a pretty good return.

Not for sure what protection is on the 2010 pick, but it could turn into a really nice asset. The West is in full on win today mode, so teams have very short windows to win. Besides Josh Howard, the Mavs are getting close to the end of their run.

Yep, BC.

Frank is going to do what he did with Boki. Harris will sit out the rest of the season.

Solid trade guys... I really like Devin Harris and think he's going to be a good PG

I also like Hassell, who is a decent, effective role-player and veteran presence. Will really help out Jefferson defensively.

Not sure what to think about Ager. Guess he can score.

Getting those two picks is great, even so in the latter part of R1.

i think the 2010 first will be very valuable for some reason. i just feel like the mavs won't be that great by then.

Kidd will be 37 or 8 by then. Dirk wlil be around 32. Howard will be in his prime. They will be a playoff team, but not a title team, which means their picks will turn into more antoine wright's for us unless we luck out

660am Mike and the Mad Dog...Thorn is on now...

note: Harris still has to pass physical...but was cleared by the Mavs to practice today...

08 draft pick is protected...( if the Mavs are in the lottery)...lol...2010 is unprotected...

Thorn..."the trade was basically dead at 7pm last night"...and then Cuban and Thorn both conceded a couple points...Thorn stated he had to have the draft picks...for the deal to be sealed...
