There's nothing to rethink. We're on a B2B where we traveled last night - missing our 2 stars. These lineups didn't even get preseason minutes.

I think the loss of Spencer was a critical hit to this team. Our depth doesn't look so great now without him.

Why did Brown or TJ get any mins? I feel like they would have fared better than Chiozza and even Shamet's trash.

It really doesn't. We lost our 3rd best player for the season.

LeVert and Jordan were really bad imo, and Nash dropped the ball by letting Levert chuck away and not playing Allen more.

LeVert had to chuck we didn't have our two best players plus Spencer

Jordan was horrible. Allen should have finished the game.

Depth is fine. Without Kyrie, KD and Dinwiddie our depth isn't good.

Still we should have won this game.

Bad play calls and possessions time and time again.

Terrible terrible loss. The Grizzlies without Morant are not as good as is.

I put this one on Nash. Our offense was sloppy and terrible. They had constant clean plays, screens and wide open looks.

If we could have just played competently we win.

Levert was making wild 3s to even keep us in the game.

Yeah, its weird. And not to slight Chiozza, he did give us 14 points, but he's a liability on defense and limited on offense. He's fine for spot minutes, but nearly 30 minutes is just crazy.

Getting beat up inside by opposing big men is a theme with Deandre going back to last season btw. For a supposed enforcer who’s supposed to be more of a bruiser than Allen...he hasn’t provided that at all. He’s actually a liability.

Also rotations were bad. I don't know why Chiozza got so much time when TJ is just better.

Why not give Allen more minutes over Jordan?

I don't know why Nash looks so clueless out there when he has D'Antonio by his side.

We took a hit big time....

PLaying Caris at the ball creator role isn’t working out IMO... he has the numbers somewhat but his off ball play with the occasional ball in hand play is where he’s at his best and most efficient.

He’s going to be run down early... the guy played hard in the bubble

Spencer was a near all star level talent to me. Losing him was a back breaker.

If the Nets trade for Harden i won't be against it now.

LOL he had 28 points, 11assists and 5 steals and you guys still want to blame him for everything.

Pathetic.

He had a critical 3 near the end of regulation and in overtime.

I’d like to be mad about the loss but I don’t think Sarah is wearing a bra right now.

The role they want or have been playing Caris at is better served by Harden...

Not calling for the heavens if we ever get Harden in but I’m always on the team strength.... if this is what we have now, wtf is left after a Harden trade?

Spencer was great but didn't really fit on this team.

Him, Kyrie, and Levert basically all play the same way.

Starting him at the 2 wasn't going to work because hes still a terrible 3 point shooter.

The biggest loss was that we needed him for the games Kyrie was missing. But idk how much we will keep limiting KD/Kyrie on back to backs.

I do think people are being a little reactionary though. It’s game 4, and we’re 2-2, and weren’t playing our two best players. Our two losses both came down to the wire and we could have easily won those games.

RS is a marathon, Nash is a rookie head coach that is going to make mistakes, we’re going to have off nights where we lose to an underdog team like Memphis, and expecting a win despite no Kyrie or KD is a little lofty imo.

On to the next one. If we’re like 10-10 after 20 games, then yeah, we can start making some sweeping generalizations.

I'm not really worried at all but I think not playing KD/Kyrie on back to backs is a bad strategy.

We need at least one if we want to get wins against bad teams. Our RS record is important.
