I'd be satisfied.

I hope the Nets get the Wall or Turner would bring back the excitement of the Marbury teams for the franchise and would be good for the fans.

Yeah I never got to see steph play that much since he left the Wolves but just look at this!

Wall would be smart to model his game after young Steph.

I hated the Marbury era. I couldn't wait for it to end. It'd drive me crazy. If he took more than 15 shots, we'd lose. We didn't have excitement for those teams. Maybe when we initially traded for him, but within a few months everyone realized he could not lead a team to save his life.

Back to the Lottery. I'm honestly going to be upset if we don't land 1 or 2. I will eventually swallow my pride if we get 3 or 4, but I'm one of those guys that think Cousins and Favors have "bust" written all over them. Wes Johnson is really the only other potential top 5 that interests me but I'm luke warm on him at best too. I've been talking about Evan Turner for 2 years now. I'd be crushed if we miss out on at least getting him if we don't get John Wall.

Yeah last night I did the mock simulator and 60% of the time we won out of the 50 times I did it (I was bored lol!)

I feel it too. Gotta have faith. But then again, I think the lottery is rigged. I could see the Kings getting it because I don't think Stern wants them moving out of Sacto. Clippers got it last year so he won't allow that to happen 2 years in a row. Knicks don't have a pick so he can't rig it enough for that to have a possibility lol. Minny won't because how how many PG's they drafted last year and how many lotto picks they've had the last few years. In terms of Stern rigging the draft lol, I think we are the flashiest choice. New ownership, arena finally finalized, lots of cap room, solid young core and we're rebuilding the correct way. He'll reward us lol.

Take that as a grain of salt though lol.

No simulator needed, we already have Wall. You'll see.

I liked the Marbury era, but that clip sums it up so nicely. How he took it himself with Van Horn (?) right next to him.

I want that number 1 pick soooo bad..I kept telling myself I'd be just as happy with Turner, even Favors/Cousins could be studs...but now that it comes down to it..I'd rather have Wall. It might just be the hype....but I still want WALL! Wall or bust. Oh and that stupid espn simulator is not kind to me at all...

Really, it doesn't matter that much to me as long as we don't take Cousins.
Of course I would love to get Wall, but if we get the #2 we still get Turner, if we get the #3 we land Favors and if we happen to get the #4 pick then we can take someone like Wes Johnson or Aminu who really intrigues me or we could even trade down with that pick.
Point is we have options, I'm just excited for tonight to end all speculation and actually know where we are picking haha

^^What's the beef with Cousins? I mean he's certainly not my favorite prospect either, but he has a ton of potential and a number of NBA ready skillsets that should translate immediately and in the long term.

His game doesn't match up with Brook's. Or, at least, that's my beef.

I say go best player available and Cousin's definitely better than Johnson. Worry about how he fits after.

While I agree with the sentiment, you don't reach for an inferior talent (ie: Johnson or Aminu). For a team as devoid in talent as this team is, if you don't like the fit with Cousins you leverage his rights in order to bring in more picks/players and/or further cap relief.

Reaching on Johnson, Aminu, is flat out not maximizing the value of an asset (in this case a top 4 pick) that we have not had in more than a decade.

Who said I would reach with the pick? I'd take Cousins/Favors, and trade them. I never said I would take Wes Johnson.

Favors is growing on me even though I still think he's overrated.
