I'm not going to be a Knicks hater and say no, he's not.

He knows how to run PnR, can pass effectively, and has good moves. He hasn't played against good teams eyt, but it does say something that with Melo and Stat out, the dude is producing.

Define legit though.

Most NYK fans are excited about Lin and if something similar happened to us, so would I. But at the same time, everyone is always going to be thinking about what happens when he actually plays against a good team.

Tbh, unless he continues this against great teams, I only see him being like Luke Ridnour/borderline starter depending on your situation.

I don't like the Knicks, but Lin looks like a player. Knicks lucked out with the pickup.

Idk if they will though. At this point, it is clear that as many people suggested (including myself I might add) that the Knicks needed a PG to succeed). The fact that he's doing this without Melo and Stat and they've won 4 straight just means that those guys are going to need to conform to the current style in order for the FO to really see them as valuable.

If Lin would've scored 20pts and the Knicks would have lost, then I would think that they still need the bigger and better players to win. But he scored 38 pts and was definitely the catalyst for the Knicks so he's definitely the real deal.

Obviously, he won't keep up the scoring. This was the 2nd half of the Lakers back-to-back, but I didn't expect them to get lit up this badly lol.
