They could, but getting a loan could potentially put the organisation is a crappier spot, I think one of Alderson's first objectives as GM is to ensure that this team can stay afloat, they can loan, but if it doesn't pan out being that they're already deep in crapper in terms of finances, it could backfire heavily.

I am with you though, would've loved to have seen Reyes stay, but as the season wore on it seemed terribly unlikely, him and Wright are still my favorite players especially since they came from the farm system. I would still take Reyes over Cano though

Meh, at least you can suffer being a Nets fan with me!
