Negative much? You from the future? Bashing Lin fans for things that haven't taken place?

Haters gonna hate. Don't feed the troll? (well it's the offseason, but......)(or just report)

1 reason because Lin's mom manages his money. Hope Lin can keep some privacy.

Lin has professionals managing his money. He hasn't touched his NBA salary money. He's only spending money from his endorsement deals.

One thing we can be sure about is that he won't end up being like 'Toine

It's a process. Start from zero, build something great, slowly but surely, I like it.

That's definitely the right attitude. And they have a ton of cap space. But the problem is so does everyone else. And they don't have much talent to encourage fa to join them.

I really like levert I hope he has a big year. But lin is only on a 3 year deal. I'm not sure they can add enough talent to turn things around that quickly with no draft picks

I'm sorry, rally is a joke. He's still going on about how Lin wasn't that important to the Hornets and now he comes to the Nets forum with his boring doubter talk. Bore off, rally.

Comparing Lin to any other good player is almost considered holy blasphemy around here (and only Lin has haters like this). I'm not getting into that, at least until Lin has a good number of Nets games in his record.

Agreed. It's a lose-lose situation. If one goes to the optimistic side, one would be called a homer or extreme; if one goes to the pessimistic side......what's the point? There is no way to decide whether a speculation is precise until after the event.

OTOH, it'd be interesting to see how Harden would do being without Lin and D12 for the first time. He'll try to be the point guard again, with a serious stretch four. Would MDA ball succeed again?

It'd be interesting if Lin's plugged in to the Clippers. Lob City with Blake and DAJ + shooters. I dunno if it's CP3 or it's Doc, they should do better than what they've done.

I'm glad you didn't start a new thread, that's for sure.

Yes. Ever notice that the Lin haters are a lot like religious fanatics? Some Lin fans -- who are far, far fewer than the haters -- are the same, but most of us prefer a calm, rational, and honest discussion. Perhaps that will be possible after Lin has proven his worth.

It would be great if both sides just talked about what Lin discussed he wanted to do. He wanted to implement the coach's system on both the defensive and offensive end and take note, Lin mentions defense before offense. He did that with Charlotte too in his interviews, he'd often mention defense before offense whether talking about the team's effort or how he played in a game or wants to play.

That's it. He's got nothing to prove to anyone. He's a team player who knows that if he's on the court longer and has more involvement in the offense, he's more effective. But that's it. There's no talk of Net wins, his numbers, none of the stuff we on the boards go over ad nauseam. In fact, how he fits with others in Atks system seems to be his focus, also his job as a veteran on a team with a lot of young players.

Lin played a minor role for the hornets. His numbers across the board were pretty pedestrian and uninspiring. He filled the backup role adequately.

I do believe he will be better in brooklyn with more consistent minutes but I think hsi ballhandling is going to be a huge issue. Hes used to having guys like harden, kemba, and kobe handle the primarily ballhandling role.

He doesn't have any help in Brooklyn besides the ability to dump it down to lopez. This situation would be tough for anyone to thrive. But a lead ballhandler like curry, paul, Irving, etc would certainly be more comfortable

I'm really curious about the Lin haters. What does Lin have to do to stop your unrelenting hatefest on him? You know, the hate that drives you guys to post pages upon pages of stats that you honestly know dont mean a damn thing to the LinFanaticTards who are at this point more than likely Lin haters/trolls just riling u up on purpose to make Lin and his fans look bad. Help the Nets win 40 games? Go 20/10 with DPoY? Just do better than your preferred PG in Rondo? I'm just really curious, cuz after all this back and forth, i dont think anything Lin does will be good enough and that all you guys hope for is for Lin to go utter scrubtastic mode to "prove'" yourselves right. Or you guys hate Lin fans so much you want Lin the player, who by all accounts is a pretty chill guy, to abjectly fail to rub into the Lin fans faces. Yay? Go you for being right? And then hand over another top 3 pick to BOS (**** those guys, **** those goat **** all day long).

This whole situation is utterly farcical. I havnet seen such abject hatred since my little sojourn over the ClutchFans to laugh at the animals over there posting hundreds of pages of sheer hate and spite for a player who left 3 years ago. At least the laker and hornet RealGM boards who got sick of the Lin-Slurpers/trolls and prolly ended up hating Lin for it, just wisened up and outright ignored all the Lin-Slurpers/trolls until they just went away from not being able to get posters to continually rise to the bait.

Edit: Ah he has 2.3 mil in incentives? interesting, does anyone know what they are?

i havent seen a single person hate on lin.

saying lin isnt in hardens class, or isnt better then lillard/wall is not hating on lin.

some of the Lin fans need to develop a backbone, and not be so insanely sensative as to where if someone does call lin a god they take it as hating on lin

Why y'all kept bring this sht up. It felt like you want to remind people or newcomer that Lin's fans are all delusional,,,etc. Dude , get over this sht and move on. Its a basketball forum, we all can say all we want, argue all we want and praise all we want.
Drop this sht and move on. every freaking time i log on, i c u posting crap about lin fan. every freaking time dude.

I think this is because---Lin fans has their own fans now, Lin fans fans! Surprise!

Wherever lin goes, you follow. And you clearly not a fan. I admire your dedication.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.
