If their GM & owner get their heads out of their ass, Kemba Walker & Batum should get traded to the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix is one of the few teams team that has the draft picks and young players to make an enticing deal for Charlotte, and probably the best backcourt player to pair Kemba alongside

So, does anyone want to read into these ESPN reports about Kawhi's camp being unhappy?

It means Kawhi is likely gone when his contract is up in a few years, but I’m beginning to doubt Kawhi will recover to the MVP caliber player he once was. It’s starting to feel like Brandon Roy 2.0 where every time he comes back he goes down again. It feels like his body is starting to give up on him

I say leave no stone unturned. I'm sure Marks wouldn't have a problem getting on the phone with Buford to see if there's any scenario where both parties can benefit. No way in hell they'd send him away for 2 quarters on the dollar... but Marks can try to make the argument that Leonard isn't worth the dollar right now and the Spurs are still trying to win "right now" with the group they have.

IDK, again I said this before, but trading for Kawhi would actually be very against Mark's philosophy... from what we've heard of him at least.

The Bucks fired Jason Kidd.

I was gonna say something about this -- that the Bucks seemed to be underperforming given their talent. Not surprised that Kidd is out.

I just asked the Bucks fans what happened, my co worker just told me dude got fired. I said to him "dude, either this is basketball related, or more than likely Jason Kidd did something off the court because he's a scum bag".

I really think Kidd had no interest in being a coach and was trying to get himself fired. He's probably thrilled.

I'm glad the media found out before him after how he left us. Dude deserved to be embarrassed.

I doubt he'll have many people backing him up.

Blockbuster Trade Deadline Prediction:

Spurs Receive
Jordan Clarkson
Brandon Ingram
Julius Randle

OKC Receives
Kawhi Leonard

Los Angeles Receives
Paul George

That's a horrible trade for the Spurs.

if by you you mean the Nets, you're definitely more optimistic than I am. I could see Kawhi trying to work his way to a better situation, but the only hope the Nets would have in that case is that RC Buford is spiteful towards specific franchises like Larry Bird was when he refused to trade Paul George to the Lakers.

If Kawhi is on the block, there are a number of teams that can and will offer better packages than whatever the Nets come up with. Even if R.C. refuses to deal Kawhi within the Western Conference, there are a couple of teams in the East that would roll out the red carpet. Charlotte is owned by MJ (Kawhi is a Team Jordan athlete) and he'd probably spring at any offer quicker than Billy King flocked to Danny Ainge.

The only hope for us is that out of the goodness of the basketball gods to the Nets, RC decides to do a deal for Demarre Carroll and loose change, figuring Carroll can keep the Spurs afloat in the playoff picture as they find a way to get out of Lamarcus Aldridge's contract in a few months. But if that's the case, it's tough to envision RC not asking for Caris Levert, who definitely looks the part of a player who will have a breakout year soon like Oladipo once he left OKC.

I'm not saying the nets have a remote chance of getting him

I'm saying if the Lakers had a choice between George and kawhi I'm getting kawhi

I won't be surprised when he winds up disappearing and disappointing his future big 3 teammates

Watching the Knicks @ Nuggets. And man that is a one trick pony team. You stop that first pass, disrupt their lane, and they can get assaulted. I don't get how we get caught in their SnR pivots.

Don't want to talk about BGriffin trade because it's just depressing, something only Clips would do.

So I'll post this instead because how can you not be grateful for basketball nights like this
