Irving literally is the happiest guy on the sideline yet people want to lie and create narratives. I'm glad the vitriol is making the team circle around him

Dear lord Kyrie STILL isn't even doing contact drills. I feel like Caris is gonna come back before he does.

I like that we're cautious with injuries and don't pressure guys to come back early. It just sucks that Kyrie missed nearly all of training camp, basically the whole preseason, and now he's about to miss game 14 and 15. There's been no time to build chemistry or see what works.

If he doesn't travel with us after this B2B, the next chance he'll have to play is Dec 26th vs. the Knicks. If he doesn't play then, I'll be worried we're looking at a year ender type of thing. Missing 6 weeks without surgery isn't a good sign.

This is an injury that requires arthroscopic shoulder surgery similar to what happened with Paul George. The Nets are trying to avoid it by giving him rest.

I trust the Nets medical staff, and everyone else should too. Nets have barely released any details or timeline on his injury, and yeah, I realize that it has been really frustrating. But at least be aware that the Nets medical staff is aware of the best course of action here.

I'm guessing there are thresholds for things like bone spurs and inflammation where they become chronic conditions that demand surgery. In the example video above, I'm sure there are disadvantages to removing soft tissue that acts as a stabilizer and a buffer to bone on bone contact. We don't necessarily know that it was caused by a bone spur only that it's bursitis. The impingement could be a result of slightly problematic/abnormal, but otherwise healthy, bone structures or muscular deficiencies.

I can't wait for Kyrie to come back so we can watch the media 180 all these comments and play his highlights endlessly. crazy how the media turns on players so easily just for viewers, really can kill a players confidence

I think the difference is, Kyrie isn't coming from a place of disingenuousness and ulterior motives.

Unlike Leonard, he genuinely wants to be here, and as the medical experts have seemed to consistently weigh in, all this is pretty much down to a complicated physical situation with lots of gray area.

He needs to have surgery and begin the recovery process. Dragging this out is absolutely foolish.

If surgery is eventually needed, do it now. There's no reason to wait. It makes a potential KD return decision that much easier. If we slide out of the playoffs, we retain our pick. There's little upside in being first round playoff fodder this year, and that's our best case scenario if KD and Kyrie are hobbled.

1- I'm not Kyrie Irving to make any dicision here.
2- even as a fan I do understand person's well being comes first than damn game.
3- my frustrations is more with this FO than Kyrie, Caris or KD. If they would be dogging it I'll say it without hesitation, it's not that.
4- I've been Nets fans since K.Mart was drafted, actually he's the only reason I became a fan. Kidd is the reason I've become faithful to this org. I've seen much worst.
