He has to bounce back next game. No excuses.

All the touch fouls being called this game and not one foul to be had there?

Maybe Kyrie needs to play better basketball before anything else for the moment

they seem pretty damn quiet now. probably bored to death like everyone else. final 2 minute eternity.

Yeah, no joke. I just don't like the fact Brooklyn didn't flatline the Celtics. They had a 19-4 for crying out loud. Now Boston has some life and believe they can win against the SUPER 3.

Well we knew that Nash would lose one game at least for the nets. His lack of ability to adjust was apparent tonight. Why would you keep switching that play. Over and over and over again. Most of the time the screens weren’t even set yet and they switched. Clearly we’re told to. Stupid.

Kyrie's going to have to step up next game. And we need at least one role player to be useful out there. Would also be great if Nash were faster in making adjustments both in so far as how we're defending as well as his rotations.

Gotta see what we have, DJ needs to get some minutes especially if Claxton is showing the jitters

First legit test of the season. Let's see how the guys respond on Sunday. The fans will be even louder too, given they'll be at full capacity.

Need more from Kyrie and the role players.

It's not the type of shot that I have the issue with, it's the miss. I said it before that I don't trust KD much in these situations for us. A 3pt make there would have cut it to 3, and brought us back in the game. Would have preferred to see a Harden step back 3 instead.

I don’t think so.

He played better (although not too good) in the second half. I think (hope) he’ll be better in Game 4.

I’m glad we fought until the end. It leaves confidence that despite a bad game from Kyrie and the role players that we just need them to play halfway decent in order to win.

This game went exactly how I said it could go during Game 2.

It’s ok to slip up in Game 3. It was still tight at the end. We’ve got 48 hours to study what went wrong on the defensive end. Now that our role players have gotten a taste of the road, while there’s still a sizable chance they’ll still play bad, I do expect Kyrie and at least one role player to show up. And I think that should be enough to win Game 4.

All eyes are on Kyrie's poor game, but can we talk about Joe Harris for a minute? Dude flat out choked in a way very reminiscent of that 2019 series against Sixers. Those misses in the 4th quarter were shocking, and he was a complete non factor, because he provides nothing else when he's not making his 3s against playoffs defenses.

We’re on opposite sides of the fence on this one.

KD has a track record of hitting big time 3s (particularly from the left wing) at the end of games.

I personally much rather live with him taking that than a Harden step back. But again, that’s just my opinion.

Marcus Smart, a 33% 3pt shooter for the season is shooting 54% from 3 against us this series. Evan Fournier is shooting 62.5% from 3 this series. I feel like this **** only happens to us...

I just think that Harden was the hotter hand in this game, and he was hitting his stepback 3s in the 4th, which kept us in the game. I didn't like the pull up 3 from KD, he didn't really set himself well for it.

Says a lot abuot our inability not just to make adjustments on the fly, but in the long run as well.

I'm absolutely baffled (and laughing) how we've got our collective panties in a bunch after tonight.

Seriously-- if you think we're THAT close to being knocked-off, like, how then are we supposed to be a 'contender?'

Kyrie doesnt need to do anything different. He played a great game (as far as the shots he took, decisions, his effort, etc..). he missed a ton of shots and was inefficient, but there is no need for him to try and play hero when Durant/Harden can not be guarded by fournier/kemba. Kyrie taking Marcus smart out of the play and picking his spots is the right way to go. he just needs to hit shots. he took all good shots tonight with the exception of maybe 1 long three.

48 hours? it took 48 seconds for anyone with half a brain to realize instant swithing kyrie/harris/brown onto a red hot Tatum and send no help was not gonna do it
