Yeah Batum for the minimum would have been great.

I just want to say, I think TLC is a hidden gem this coming season. He will learn alot from playing with KD and be better than Batum....and still have to claw for minutes.

Awfully quiet from Houston. But....
Saw a tweet from a French speaking Twitter guy out of LA with 10k followers said he heard they are trading him and then NI just tweeted something. Didn't say imminency or where in either.

I assume you mean TLC. As for NI, he doesn't know **** anymore.Trader_Joe wrote:Awfully quiet from Houston. But....

Where did you see the tweet though?

Interesting. Here was my guess from a couple of days ago...
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y54hmzly
And yes, I know that IF Wiseman has put pen to paper on his contract, they can't move him for 30 days.

Na no way I see GS giving up Wiseman for Din and Allen. Wiseman should be better than Allen and they have him under control for a few years.

I see no reason why Golden State entertains that offer.

Nets Going Forward: Planning for Next Season
TJ’s contract is fully guaranteed and he’s got no-trade protection in his two years.

Who reported 2 years? I've only seen 1? Very interesting if true. Basically confirms he's the Dinwiddie replacement in waiting.

Stand corrected. You’re right. Yeah, it’s inevitable that a trade happens at some point. I don’t think it’s anytime soon, though.

I can see a long drawn out trade scenario being to this team's detriment.

I'm not sure - if they struggle maybe but there won't be any positive press if they struggle. It will either be "KD not the player he used to be" or "Nash in over his head". "The Nets Need Harden" would be welcomed distraction

I think it's smart that they are going step by step because it may make sense to trade a bunch of futures and go big or it may not. Dinwiddie or Levert could each be vital pieces on a championship or they could be trade bait. Why not give it a few months before making a rash decision?
I am very curious what they would have done if Ibaka came here. Had LAC not struck out on the other 2 guys they went for I think he may have too.

I just don't want this to drag on and have Dinwiddie, Allen, and LeVert being distracted. We need them to play well regardless of anything else if we are going to be an elite team.

For those who wanted us to trade for Otto Porter before,

He has skyrocketed on my FA list. I thought this dude has zero personality like his game but wow.
