Just an FYI

The Wolves stand ready and willing to turn Troy Murphy into cap space that can help get DEN under the lux and save them $20 freakin' million dollars.

We're not just the Knicks girl .. we'll do it with anyone, they just have to leave proper compensation on the nightstand.

Sadly (or fortunately?) for us, we don't have Magic Randolph to convince you guys to take Murphy off our hands.

Reports have surfaced that the Nuggets and Nets are talking again about a trade to send Carmelo Anthony to New Jersey.

But a source with knowledge of the situation tells Alan Hahn of Newsday that the Nets reemergence is not genuine.

"The Nets are out," the source said.

Hahn writes that the Knicks are not confident that Denver actually knows what it wants from a deal for Anthony and offers his opinion that it is "amateur hour" in the Nuggets' front office.

LOL @ NET'S FAN's

I'm not sure why this is supposed to be a jab at the Nets? The Nuggets are still acting like psychos and it appears both the Knicks and Nets would rather go head to head with each other for him this summer instead of giving into the Nuggets demands.

We made our due dilligence call which is what most of us expected. It's how business negotions work. Denver's stance is still stupid so we again look like we walked away. Your school system failed you if you read into this and thought this meant the Nets had egg on their face and should be embarassed or something.

Hahn doesn't know his ass from his elbow. . . He's a Knick butt boy. Take what he says for what it's worth, nothing.

Those picks better be LA's, Houston's, GSW's and our 2012 pick.. if it includes this years then I'm gonna jump off the roof of my building.

I call bull on this. No way we're giving up more now then we were month ago in terms of picks. Especially since the value of our pick is exponentially higher now that it's a lock to be top 10.

Not to mention that it's closer to the deadline and we SHOULD be offering less than what we did a month ago. King however has not made any Nets fans confident in him being a good GM as he simply gave in to Avery's summer signings.

To be fair I don't think he was there for the Outlaw deal but obviously the Troy trade sucked so that's a big negative.

I'm hoping the Troy trade was a one time mistake.

Please tell me this is a sick joke? Why the hell are we acting like the desperate ones here? Why? Aren't the Nuggets the one in risk of losing their franchise player for nothing when the offseason rolls by? WHAT THE HELL?

So if this it, 2011-2012 looks like...

Billups - Farmar
Morrow - ???
Melo- Damion James - Outlaw - Graham
??? -???
Lopez - Petro

Ely, Williams, Ross all hopefully not retained, Sasha is likely too expensive and probably not even worth it at reasonable money, Kris would absolutely need to be retained. And then we'd have to hope he does what he did this year, but in a starting role and probably playing over 37 MPG. Not really sure where we'd be cap-wise at this point, or what kind of role-players will be available this FA.

If the 2011 first is the excluded pick, we'll also have a mid lotto pick in a weak draft (maybe we'll get lucky and find ourselves in a position to get Irving). Anyway, that's probably a 50 win team in the East, assuming Humphries plays beast basketball like he did this year (maybe not that safe an assumption). Unless Brook gets a lot stronger and tougher over course of the off season (possible though not likely), we still aren't beating Boston or Miami, and probably not Chicago or Orlando in the playoffs.

If the deal in place involves Harris/Favors and 4 firsts i dont understand it.....especially if its only a 3 year extension in place for Melo.

Do the nets have the cap space to make a serious run at a ROSTER after this season? if not, they have no chance to rebuild through the draft in 3 years
