Btw, how does he have 540+ and1 and the first post is just over 300 ?

Read the rest of the thread. He made a few other posts in here. All of them got And1

Love it when RGM insiders break news. Heat board every now and then get some info before it leaks, and I remember back then the Suns board had a guy too I think.

Props. Getting recognition on Twitter too, thats some solid sht right there

Gave my And-1 to Carl.

Next time he writes a post, I'm just gonna write MVP, MVP, MVP like he was shooting FTs.

I feel sorry for bucks fans. Just when it seems like their franchise was on an upswing, they go and hire this clown. You guys deserve better and I hope it doesn't happen.

Happy for Nets fans and hope they get some stability in their office. King is a clown and should've been fired years ago.

I'm from Slovenia and I don't get many NBA related news in our local media and if we do it's a week old stuff. That is why RealGM is my best NBA related news source since 2001. ESPN, CBS, Yahoo and not one other site has more news and discussion than RealGM. That is why I am proud to be a part of the RealGM family and this thread is the high point of RealGM. I even clicked on an add today just for fun :)

ESPN can suck dick with their paid monthly subscription to Insider, RealGM has Carl!!!

Man.... one of the things that is so frustrating is that kidd was really so spot on with his direction:

--One of the final straws for Nets ownership came around the trade deadline. Kidd advocated for a trade with the Bucks that would sent Brook Lopez and Mirza Teletovic to Milwaukee for the deeply troubled Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova. The suggestion, mostly about Kidd's belief that Lopez couldn't fit in his system, was considered and rejected by the Nets brass.

--Kidd was angered by the Nets decision to trade for Marcus Thornton rather than Jarrett Jack, who he believed would have been a better fit. Nets ownership believe that Kidd's ultimate ambition was to dump Billy King, with whom ownership remains quite satisfied. Kidd believes that King and Nets ownership do not have a long term plan and are too opportunistic.

Lopez needing to go, Wanting to bring in more defense at Center, King being a bad GM.... but what scares me most is:

"kidd belies nets ownership do not have a long term plan" which might singal that the team doesnt really have a good grasp on what needs to be done to get a star in 2016

Kidd has LarryBrowned the Nets twice now. Good Riddance.

Trading Brook for Sanders is terrible. Sanders extends into 2016-17 at $11 million, is in rehab, a headcase, a locker room cancer. I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

We tried to acquire Jack for the package of Terry and Evans, but the Cavs turned it down. Thornton was the backup plan.

I foresee a drunk driving incident in Jason Kidd's near future. I also foresee Carl2680 getting to the scene even before the police.

Sanders isnt a headcase or a locker room cancer. rehab, yes but the other 2 comments are not accurate. This also would have been long BEFORE sanders was sent to rehab, which needs to be considered. either way, Kidd was looking to move lopez which would have been a huge blessing for this franchise. clearly king wants to keep him, and its going to come back to bite us in the butt

as far as 2016-17, sanders is a guy you WANT on the team long term. a potoential 1st team all defense center. having him at 11 million you can still easily max out durant and get some other pieces.

adding money to 16-17 is only an issue when its a guy you wont keep around who isnt a young player.

that was the report. maybe it was the nets who didnt want to go that route.

Sanders has had 1 good season.
-He broke his hand in a bar fight.
-Was suspended 5 games for violating the anti-drug policy
-Had runs in with the law
-Was garbage when he played this past season
-Now in rehab
-Had a confrontation with Gary Neal who said Sanders wasn't earning his money (locker room cancer)

$34 million would be tied up between DWill and Sanders. Would KD want to come play with them? I highly doubt that. And no they wouldn't have room for much more after that. Add in $20 million for KD you're at $54, plus Plumlee's $2 million and cap holds your at $60 so we'd have $9 million to offer, not getting anyone great with $9 million,

he is in rehab for violating the substance abuse. he wasnt garbage last season. he had a down year and had some injuries but he wasnt garbage. not to mention his team was trying to tank which never helps. either way, a much much better option then lopez. nets have done well turning guys around and working with some issues. there is nothing they can do about lopez being soft, having no heart, being an awful defender, and a ball stopper.

9 million gets you a pretty good player. plus you would have another 23 million to spend the following year when dwill expires. Durant im sure would love to play with young defensive star at center. dwill would be the reason he doesnt come
