We knew Bruce Brown didn't like Harden and was glad he's gone and this game really showed that. Truthfully he's been excellent post trade/ASB and he continued that tonight. He basically eliminated Maxey and with Harden gone, he has full licence to push the pace on any rebound or turnover. That's truly where he excels because he is a good ball handler and can finish at the rim or make a good pass in transition. Easy offense.

What's crazy to me is that we've had Brown, Griffin and even MILLS pretty openly express their dislike of Harden... He must have REALLY been hated for high character role guys to that openly dislike him.

Don't mean to stir the pot.......but Nash did a great job in last nights game. It was a superb performance on both sides of the floor for the entire 48 minutes.

I was concerned when Claxton got subbed in for Drummond but Nic had a great game.

All in all every member of our team played their hearts out. We just wanted it more. Our mid range game is our bread and butter, it was like death by a thousand cuts for the Sixers.

I was really surprised how well nic played Embiid... at the same time, props to drummond, im sure 10 minutes of trying to bully drummond took alot out of embiid. we saw mostly jumpers after that

Drummond had the soze/physicality to make him break into a severe sweat in the first quarter, you know when Embiid has that look it's over for Philly.

Morey needs to give a fat 34 year old harden who just came up short in the playoffs 5 years at 50+ million per year or lose him for nothing. that would be 2 picks, simmons, curry, drummond for 3 months of harden or doom yourself to fat declining harden with no cap room to improve for 5 years

Even though he went 2 for 3 from 3, as soon as I saw Embiid starting to hoist 3s, I knew he was gassed, frustrated and letting go of the rope. There's something to having to spend half his minutes banging with somebody his own size, then have to deal with a hyper-athletic pogo stick.

Bruce Brown has been playing pretty much the role we expect Ben to play. But we know Ben is a better ball handler, is more explosive, is a better defender versus wing scorers and is an excellent playmaker in transition.

Scary to think about what can happen if we can get Ben in there for a Kyrie/Seth/KD/Simmons/Drummond starting 5. Two elite scorers, a deadly knockdown shooter, lock down wing defense and a dominating presence on the defensive glass.

Maybe this thread... while the correlation isn't locked as undisputable yet however, coincidence that without LMA subduing Claxton's ability to be on the floor(Coach's call not LMA), Claxton and team performance on the defensive end has been much better of late?

Once LMA is healthy and returns to keeping out Claxton from playing(not his fault, Nash's call/vision), expect to see the same struggle as before...

Bruce isn't the FT liability that Ben is. And he understands our offense perfectly.

He also wants to handle the ball unlike Bruce. I don't know if its that simple.

LMA was HUGE For us offensively. Especially when KD was injured.

We don't need scoring as much now.

I think he can be useful for games without Kyrie.

Or definitely as a spark plug off the bench.

But Claxton is our best option for a closing lineup.
