good luck getting him to play with any effort. this situation reflects poorly on sixers management.

I know they need a PF more than a backup wing but Ross has improved his ability to read the PnR and can actually kill you from deep if you don't get out on him quick enough.

Raptors fans can enlighten me on this subject. Maybe I'm overstating improvement and not paying enough attention to his negatives (which I know he still has) but watching him the last few times he played the Nets as well as seeing him in person has led me to that conclusion.

I agree with MDB. It is a poor reflection on the Sixers. The same thing happened to Scola when he was on the Rockets but that was a veteran group with McGrady and Yao who were already primed to make some noise down the road.

This is a young and impressionable Sixers team. I know Okafor's agent and especially his Dad disliked the Sixers before, I'm sure this only makes things worse for them.

Heard Delon Wright was key in the Raptors comeback win last night.

While we welcome Boston losses in order to help our pick situation, they were just royally screwed out of a win against Chicago.

I've tried private messaging you, but you won't respond so I am doing this here.

Why was I banned last night? I broke absolutely zero rules and have no idea what I did wrong.

I get you're the King of playing favorites and wanted to punish me for disagreeing with you, but I would really appreciate a response.

I didn't want to bring this up here, but you failed to respond to my PMs, likely because you knew you screwed up.

Frankly you should relinquish moderating duties. It isn't for everyone and you clearly lack the temperament. Please apologize. I am also happy to meet you in person so you can kiss my feet.

Here's an interesting thing...not only did I not suspend you, I don't know even who did (yet) because I wasn't even involved in the call for suspension. There are two other moderators on the Nets forum and their are global moderators who oversee the all of the RealGM forums. If the other Nets mods or global mods disapprove of your activity, they have the ability to suspend you. After this post, I will see what happened and why you were temporarily suspended.

I've been busy since early morning yesterday and therefore have been "on mobile" since two nights ago. I can't even see PMs with the RealGM app hence why you didn't get a response. That's why if you look at the post that you responded to it ends with "Sent from my [device] using the RealGM mobile app".

Also, since we're sort of on the topic of moderation and rules, I'd suggest that you spend some time going over the site's TOS and the general board rules which all users are supposed to read. Within those documents, you'd find that being a "previously banned poster" (i.e. creating another account to post under because a previously used username was banned) is a perma-bannable offense.

From the first day that you started posting under "Rainyy" it was quite obvious that you were the PBP "Rainy". Because of that, I had conversations with other mods and specifically requested that you NOT be banned because I believe people deserve 2nd chances as long as they are not demeaning towards others or stay within bounds of the site rules.

In short, if there was any mod who you shouldn't have blasted or tried to go after, it was me because I was your only advocate. On other team and general NBA boards, as soon as they see that you're a PBP you're perma-banned again. Don't come to me talking about a lack of temperament when the majority of Nets posters on this site have said (if anything) that I'm a bit too lenient in banning trolls or kicking people out even though I see myself as trying to prevent the group think/echo chamber mentality and keep open discourse flowing.

I've responded to and gave warnings (instead of long overdue bans) precisely because I believe that people need chances to change and that we all can benefit from hearing different voices and opinions. I'm constantly PM and giving warnings instead of banning just because I prefer discourse over permanent marks on your record or penalties.

The irony of you telling me that I lack temperament (because you falsely assumed I suspended you) and continue on requesting that I apologize to you (for something I didn't do) and "kiss your feet" was something that I could only smirk at. If the other mods and/or global mods decide to suspend you or perma-ban you for backseat moderating, trolling, or simply being a PBP, you no longer have an advocate or leg to stand on.

Nets mods here are as lenient as it gets... they typically PM you a warning, edit your post warning you or tell you to cool down. even with opposing teams posters.

only time we see suspensions is usually when the poster is straight trolling/cursing or if another teams fan is trolling a game thread. even then its usually the 1 day variety.

typically if a nets fan is banned/suspended its for what they posted on another board (general board, other teams board) and by a non-nets forum moderator.

I doubt it was a nets mod who suspended you. they are super lenient and none of the posts youve made that ive seen where anywhere near anything a nets mod would suspend someone for. at worst they would typically respond to your post warning you for whatever they thought was no bueno.

the other boards mods can be harsh or flat out brutally misuse their powers. ive seen guys get perma banned on the GB just for calling harden a flopper. outside the nets board you need to be careful... especially on the general board

I agree that the Nets Mods are really lenient. It's as if they know being a Nets fan is punishment enough

Actually, I reported you for your comments in the game thread where you trashed and disrespected the entire forum because people don't feel the need to agree with you on the merits of Brook Lopez.

Oh, that's right. Can't criticize the coach because of [insert logical fallacy].

This message board cracks me up.

Please tell me this wasn't the post you were talking about (it's the only one I could find that remotely fit your description).

Yes it is.

Should I apologize? Or are you going to make me kiss your feet?

"This message board cracks me up" - e.g. this message board makes me laugh - is akin to "trashing and disrespecting the board?"

People permissibly call each other biased all the time - you, in fact, have mocked me over my bias for Lopez - but saying "this forum amuses me" crosses the line? Ok...

I hope the irony of you routinely calling players "pussies" is not lost on you. You really need to grow thicker skin.

You don't have to apologize, but just realize you are the kind of person who would rather silence a dissenting view than engage it.

I watched with a proud smile on my face. Those guys watch us get disrespected by the refs on a nightly basis.
