Draft picks, assets for him in a trade? why? :sigh: They have a starting point guard now move on to another position of need.
Dinwidie's one of the better point guards in the league especially considering his assist to turnover ratio and he's making peanuts.

That's why teams want him...That's why you should appreciate him.

He won't be making peanuts forever

Are you ready to give him a max contract

It's already taken care of
Dinwiddie signed a three-year deal on joining the Nets 13 months ago, with none of the three years guaranteed. Under terms of his contract, as reported by Basketball Insiders, Dinwiddie received a $50,000 guarantee back in July, then $250,000 when he made the team in October. He will now be guaranteed the full vets minimum of $1.52 million. Next year, he has a similar arrangement, getting $250,000 when he makes the team. His contract calls for him to receive $1.66 million next season.

He was at the height of his value because of his contact next year he's an expiring contract which means your likely to get less in a trade over pay him or lose him for nothing

What's a reasonable deal for me that's 8-10 but in the current market he could get 12-15 if there's bidding for him

You're going to be paying him like he's an all star to keep him

Does Spencer seem to be over dribbling the ball in close games or am I just picking on him?

He absolutely does. Sometimes I think it's fatigue. Pound the ball for 15 seconds and heave a very long 3 to get a breather.

About the last game. Every player has bad games. Every player goes through periods of adjustment where other teams game-plan on them so another guy has to beat you. That Dinwiddie is getting that attention is testament to his growth and respect for coaches and players on other teams.

DLo and Dinwiddie should play together and it'll take time to work that out. That's what the season is for. It takes time for facilitators to work on the court together. I remember when LeBron and Wade, two future HOFers didn't play well together on the court. It took months for them to figure it out. So, these two guys need patience, because they both like the ball and both have their methodology in how they go about setting up and running the offense.

Yeah, Din has to clean some things up. But he's smart and a team player. He's in a frustration period. He'll be fine.

It's ASB. Time to cool off and recharge. The Nets need a W soon-after the season resumes.

Yeah, although I think a lot of the wild overpaying of scrubs and paying starters franchise money may have come to an end, there's a good chance someone throws a big 3 year deal at Dinwiddie if his play keeps up or continues to improve through next season, maybe like 3/$70.

A reasonable deal for him is probably around $15 a year for the full 4 seasons, possible an ETO or non-guaranteed 4th year to protect him or the team, more likely the ETO.
