Agreed we should have kept KD out yesterday.

But it might be good if we become underdogs. I didn't like how so many talking heads were saying we were a lock to win.

Will give these guys more motivation.

I disagree.

Without KD, a loss to minnesota was possible. With KD a loss to the sixers is possible.

Best chance to come out 1-1 or better was playing KD in the first game. if we lost both we would be 2 games behind philly. now if we lose we are just 1 game back.

I agree about the underdog thing, but also that the first time they see us full strength is in the playoffs. so the first time they feel the full force of that punch in the face they will be shook.

Disagree. we could of beat Minn without KD, we was rolling with him on the bench.

And also we're already behind Philly, they own the tiebreaker. So if they win tonight, we're not just 1 game back we're basically 2 games back since they own the tie breaker. With Kyrie and KD we basically match them. We would of def beat Minn without KD.

the point about being "virtualy" 2 games back is moot. it would be "virtually" 3 games if we lost to both minny and philly.

the minny game is 100% different without KD. minnesotas approach is differemt. their believe they can win is different. we got out to a huge lead behind KDs hot start. does that happen if he doesnt play? i dont know.

No guarantee with beat philly with KD. no guarantee we beat minny without KD. the only sure thing was beating minny with KD< which is what we rolled with.

give me the guaranteed win + shot at the 76ers with KD. thats the smartest move

If anyone takes that away from these past 7 days they'd have to be pretty stupid.

So yeah I expect that to be tomorrow morning's talking point on ESPN and Fox Sports

I'm sad to hear about Chiozza's injury.

I'm glad to see us err on the side of caution with the health of many rotation players, and hold them out tonight.

As others have stated, I would like to see a tough, spirited and connected team effort from our guys. Bloodied but unbowed. Go Brooklyn!

Schedule has forced us to play these kind of games. Sucks. But would be horrible if we lost a player like what just happened to Denver.

Jordan getting the start over Claxton to counter Embiid. Lets see if it pays off.

I honestly just don’t want to hear it again. After they lost to the Lakers that’s all it was. I think healthy this team can beat anyone in a play off series. I’m not worried. We beat a healthy philly team without KD and Kylie and harden earlier in the season. Yes we had Allen and Caris then. But still beat them. The game is meaningless as far as what would happen in a play off series between the two teams.

The downside of losing this game is they will have the tie breaker against the nets. But then there is the thought of what if the nets win. If the nets beat the sixers tonight oh boy. Without KD and harden and griffin and Aldridge without both back up point guards in cheese and Johnson. And we beat them then what will the talking head say

Who exactly is going to be the ballhandler on the second unit. I know Shamet was getting some PG minutes, but he's starting this game so..

I don't know how long the Nets will hold on tonight. Once Kyrie goes to the bench I expect Philly to go up by 17 to 24 pts.

I don’t like the body language already. They need to hustle tonight to win or keep it close at least, and it’s not there so far.
